I personally love them. I like seeing people's rosters and being able to help the best I can.

I enjoy them and contribute where I can. People have helped me in the past and I think it’d be a shame if people didn’t like them and make me and others feel like they can’t ask for help anymore. For people earlier in story resources are low and it’s important for people to feel confident they’re ranking the right champs. Keep them coming!

I personally love them. I like seeing people's rosters and being able to help the best I can.

I also like them for that same reason - and also because they can help me with my roster decisions at the same time by seeing other people's recommendations, or how to study a character more I haven't really thought of or figured out yet.

(That being said, I made a "which Skill R3" rankup thread and still haven't made my decision between Shang Chi and Black Cat lol)

We aren't saying that you can't ask questions. It's when there are 100 questions that pops up when BG season starts " do you think this match making is fair". Instead of adding to the first post, everyone creates a new one.

That's because people would need to read in order to do that. No reading ability is required to make your own post. Takes less time and less effort.

I hate the ones where they upload 17 screenshots of their entire roster including lower stars.

Specific questions from them are ok from a short list (who is better as a defender, need a good bg attacker, who is good for this path etc) but "who should i rankup" followed by 4 pages of screenshots is either pay to win or a complete spud and both should know better by now.

They say the are no dumb questions, but there are wrong ones. "Who should I rank up" is usually a wrong question, because the only proper answer is: "how should we know?"

People rank up for lots of reasons. Maybe they like how a champ plays. Maybe they need a champ to help them do some specific piece of content. Maybe they are trying to rank up champs that will be useful for something they intend to do in the future. All rank ups have a purpose. When you ask "who should I rank up" and you don't say what the reason for the rank up is, then the only thing anyone can logically presume is the person thinks there's such a thing as a universal tier list of champs, and are asking which of their champs is the bestest one in general. Which in the current state of the game, there is no such thing.

I expect brand new players working their way to Uncollected to not necessarily know this. But if you're a Valiant player and you still don't know this, something has gone awry.

Seems like the developed rosters are more of an attempted flex than actually seeking advice. I feel that if they're that far along in the game, then they should have a general understanding of "who to rank up". So lol yeah..noobs get a pass.

Rank ups depend on what content you're trying to do. I think you should rank who you like to use. You'll get more enjoyment out of the game.

Well, I had a Titan and was crossing my fingers for Hit Monkey, but I just opened it and it's BWDO.

Soooooo I just took Black Cat up to R3 lol.

I personally like it. For example, i learned that Captain Marvel is a counter to Onslaught who has troubled me fot a year because you posted it somewhere that was then repeated by someone im a who to r2 thread.

I tested her and it worked! It gets too much at times but the who to rank up threads are now staples of this forum.
