Arena QoL

Arena is getting very annoying with every round having r3 bullseye or serpent or enchantress or arcade or thanos i can go on and on.

We have 3 different teams to pick let us see which team has what champs in it. Why are we hiding champs in 2025.

Or let us choose 1-3 bans in arena. So we don't have to fight bullseye with a korg -_-

It's not that difficult to face those champions in arena bcos they don't have boosted attack damage and health pool

It not about being difficult its about time. Usual rounds take 20-25sec top and i don't have to pay attention. If you include those specific r3 champs every round sure you can roll over them with your own r3-2 but it get increasingly annoying when you go lower in your roster pool.

Not about difficulty. Convenience. Who tf wants to pay attention to arena?

Well played Kabam, I was about to stop paying for arena express and this 2 weeks just makes me want to poke my eyes out with a fish hook.

Yes, even though you only see the top champ from each of the 3 potential opposing player's teams, you can click to select either of those 3 opponent teams.
(seen plenty of remarks from people just starting out, saying “why does it show 3 different teams on right ? It always just puts me against the 1st team in that list, lol)

OP here is just mentioning that the 2nd and 3rd players, of each of those teams, is not shown until after you’ve selected the opponent and can lineup your pairings for the 3 fights. And often times can throw you for a loop if they are particularly difficult champs to fight. Wishes the game would just show you all 3 (times 3).

*of which (line just above here), that is something else a lot of new players don’t know at first. After you choose which of the teams you’re matched against, you can DRAG-n-DROP your own team's 3 champs for the match, to better lineup against which pairings of the 3 champs on opponents team.

You'll have to define what you mean when you say you're facing the more annoying R3s in the game as you go lower into your roster. That pretty much shouldn't be happening once your streak exceeds 19. If you're at 20+ and running three R1 champs, then at least one of your options is going to be right around that level. You don't have to fight teams of R3.

Thanks. I guess I changed to auto-select a long time ago to make it go faster, and then forgot that we had the option in the first place.
And as far as drag-dropping for specific pairings, I never knew about that at all, so thanks for the information!

Express arena doesn't let you choose. Without express arena, you choose between three teams.

Did they ever change Express Arena to automatically choose the higher rated, bottom opponent team ?

That you can get a little higher points from, because points are based on both your own champs + those of opponent.

(Think I remember that was a bone of contention when Express first came out)

Does saving a little time really get you that much more points, if every match you're actually leaving some potential points unrealized because it uses the lower ranked opponent ?

Pretty sure it still chooses the lowest team. You're more likely to see a team half your strength than you are to see one above your strength at higher streaks. So arena express actually take an extra round or two to complete all milestones, but the speed obviously still more than makes up for it.

Let me see if I have this correct. Your problem with the arena is a) the fastest game mode for rewards is too slow, and b) you actually have to very occasionally pay attention to the fastest game mode for rewards, and you would like these two defects addressed. This is what you would like the devs to spend time on?

I have to say again, thanks so much for this advice. Along with what a couple of other similarly generous and knowledgeable members have shared with me, infinite streaks are now pretty easy whereas I used to always get tripped up somewhere along the way.

It would be nice to see all three but it's not a big deal. I'd like to see the help system go away. It's never worked correctly at any point in the game's history. That's not a big deal either, but it annoys me when I click the button for each team of 7*s I use, and then they show up needing help again every time I get back on.

Yep.
I’ve suggested many many times up here to get rid of ARENA HELP.
And just use Help for QUEST ENERGY only.

Have Arena Refresh times be fixed amounts, not subject to being reduced by a minute here or there. They have already reduced those refresh times over the past many years multiple times.

Restructure the timing, amount of helps to give, energy received, loyalty per day, etc. to just deal with Quest Energy Help.

Lot less Helps involved on Alliance Help Page, a lot less often, quicker to give help then, but you'd still get a sense of who is doing some things (quests) in game, without seeing 100 of them waiting from the same person (which just discourages people from Helping anymore after they've reached their Loyalty daily limit).
