You need to run either Decay tactic champs or champs with either incinerate or poison immunities and play around the node. For example, I used Werewolf by Night on attack, danced around through the incinerate phase while getting howls and blocked hits in, and then cleaned up during the poison phase.

There are lots of ways to play around Hazard Shift, it’s really not that bad of a node if you take the time to plan out your deck.

Then u will have a hard time but this node basically wants u to use decay if u want a win or u just gotta use immunities and tank the length of fights for stalling

I prefer nodes that revolve around skill, and not just using different champions. I hated the Provocateur and Secutor meta with the regen because of this. This meta is worse though, the damage is ridiculous. It makes most good attackers useless.

I thought it was skill. If the champ is immune to one, defend, dex, block when the other DOT effect is on.

Yeah, I know. I considered a snarky reply about how he probably Herc'd his way to Valiant, and doesn't know what any other champs do.

That didn't seem very productive though.

You can use any champion who applies lots of debuffs. The decay node applies to everyone regardless of their saga tag. The only part that’s saga dependent is applying slow.

Decay only works on decay attackers so u have to filter its like in war

Well #Decay attackers will only mitigate the hazard damage if they're facing #Sugar Pill defenders or can inflict a lot of debuffs on their own (i.e., not from the sugar pills).
So, for example, Photon will be fine against any defender, but if like Hulk is facing a non-#Sugar Pill defender, then he will take hazard damage until he's in gamma and inflicting and pausing his various debuffs.
Ditto for someone like Gamora, who's also #Decay, but won't be putting up enough Debuffs on her own to mitigate hazard damage. She'll need to face a #Sugar Pill defender to get those extra debuffs from the sugar pills.

Yep this is why people complaining that progression ingame became too fast. Valiants should have a deep, diverse roster.

“Not everyone have all champs in the game” might be true for Cavs and TB. I expect a Valiant to have at least 99% of champs as a 6*. Ranked up is another story but you became valiant too fast

If your highest rank in bgs is a 6* r4 and you can shut someone like me out who is nothing but sigged 7* r3s then really what's the damn point in leveling anyone at all. There's no excuse for this. Not the busted nodes not all the proper counters in the world. None. If some asshat can match 8+ years of playing with their piss poor barely over 1mill total rank 2 year old account then to hell with this busted ass nonsense. I'm not saying high ranks should have a shoe in victory but against rosters like that?? What's the point in playing any end game content or ranking high value champs if said unsigged dickhead can trounce you in less than 30 sec with 90% health remaining?? Makes 7* and max 6* ranks completely pointless.

If you have an awakwned Captain Marvel (CMM) she's clutch in this meta! She is poison immune, and the incinerates accerlerate her Binary Ignition. If awakened and max sig, she goes Indestructible for 12 seconds, so the Incinerates won't do anymore damage. She does a lot of damage while in Binary Ignition via Armor Breaks and energy reflection, and 9 times out of 10, one Special 2 from her will kill the defender, or get them close to a KO. The fights are usually over before her Indestructible expires.

There is a downside to her: she'll take a little health loss getting to BI. And once her Indestructible expires, it takes 40 seconds to regain it. So she'll lose more health if there are any damaging debuffs on her. Also, she's likely to get banned lol. Not always, but expect it. Mine gets banned quite often this meta. But she's still worth the investment.

Not true in war u can use decay tactic for any dot node and still take 0 damage if u have the debuffs u even can ignore onslaughts neuroshock damage with decay attackers in war which also should translate to the bg node as it works the same
