How about neither. The third option shoudl be to fix the game. Adding more features that might cause more issues sot that's a no go for me.

Before they do anything like this, they should make dexes and parries actually register and not make me just stand there getting hit

If we had to wait for parts of the game to be "fixed" before getting a new feature we'd all quit playing by now

The less things needed to be competitive, the closer you are to affording food.
