I Hate the Showcase

Dust and Bullseye are the devil. Needing secutor champs is stupid. I just want to beat the thing without wasting revives and it's impossible. Did you even test this event before releasing it to us or are we your play testers?

These were common fights during the AW seasons in which these were the tactics. A couple of the fights, like Dust and Bullseye, are still common fights in the current meta. It's an AW showcase, so it's based on what has taken place in previous seasons of AW. There was nothing to test.

Dust is very easy with lady death strike, somehow she turns off unlockable and maybe something else, I didn't even read the nodes. If you're losing because of lags here, it's not about the quest, but a game optimisation issue. The thing is long and boring, but you can beat him with red skull. Bullseye is bull****, but I believe mister sinister was good for the fight. There were other options, but I don't remember much already

Dust is very easy with lady death strike, somehow she turns off unlockable and maybe something else, I didn't even read the nodes. If you're losing because of lags here, it's not about the quest, but a game optimisation issue. The thing is long and boring, but you can beat him with red skull. Bullseye is bull****, but I believe mister sinister was good for the fight. There were other options, but I don't remember much already

The struggle with Dust is she goes unblockable once you hit 3 debuffs and puts two debuffs on you every time she throws a special, so you basically play most of the fight one parry or one hit into her block away from her probably spending the entire fight unblockable. Lady Deathstrike is immune to heal block, so that is one less debuff that she has to deal with every time Dust throws a special. While Ironheart is slightly better than LDS at the fight because of Dust's interactions with incinerate, LDS is a very safe option for the fight because she makes the unblockable more easily avoidable.

You don't need secutor champs for Bullseye.

I really wish the showcase didn't have AW ai, I hate that they can parry and intercept you much more often because of this.

I personally agree that showcase is garbage content, if I wanted to play high tier alliance war I would join an alliance that does that. At least there isn't anything overly special locked behind it this go around. Just don't do it if you don't enjoy it.

Personally, I found Northstar far more annoying than Dust; with his literally endless Special Attacks - by the time one is finished, he has Power for another. Three, and you're backed into the corner...

That was easily the worst fight of the quest. I ended up using Red Skull, which turned out to be a good choice, but it was still super annoying. It went from annoying champ with super annoying nodes to annoying champ with moderately annoying nodes.

I loved showcase.
Restarted many times to solo every fight with the exception of bullseye.

Don’t play high level war - but I wish you could bring in all war boosts. I get they try to give that experience with some nodes but with it being randomly chosen by fight… just feels lame.

They made showcase simpler by not adding midstroyer on mighty charge and enchantress on heavy hitter.

Would definitely like to see people fight midstroyer on mighty charge ebb and flow intercept without nefaria. It was fun.
I took that enchantress with red guardian. He was not secutor, But I made it work somehow.

Oi, I soloed on my alt, where I have a duped ironheart.
On main, I used sunspot without power back. I was bound to die. And only 40% revive no healing. I was saving potions for deathless run.

I take that fight nearly every war. Luke cage has soloed every one. Its easier with a 7R3 but I made it work with a 6R5a until I got a 7 star. Now enchantress on heavy hitter...She can burn in hell.

You can slow play midstroyer without removing his protections. I play tier 4 it is 60% protection there. Maybe not possible if tier 1 has 90% protection.

Enchantress on heavy hitter sucks, but if she's not secutor then there are bunch of counter like RG and spidy og

I knew she somehow deals with unlockable, so I went to read her description online and searched for it, and basically she stops it for mutants (the wording looks like it shouldn't be aar related)

Who do you have?
Dust is probably a good option. She's all physical damage and most of her hits are projectile. She also has grit during Sandstorm, so it'll keep Attuma's unstoppable at bay if he gets there. It might just have to be a fight that you have to revive through.

Mutants I have 7* Storm x, bishop, 6* ascended kitty pryde arcangel R4 storm, prof x, iceman. Already tried kitty (I think she's ok but really slow) bishop and iceman, but they don't seem to work (healing node)
