Which THREE 6 Stars should I take to R5?

So I just completed and explored 8.4 which gave me three 6* R4-5 gems. I am almost 500% not going to rank up someone that exists as a 7*, even if I don't have them.

From my options, it *feels* like the most logical and smartest rank ups would be Kate Bishop, Hulkling, and Future Ant Man... but there's other options too. Both Doom and Absorbing Man could be really good too. Then there's JJ and WX. From your experience who would be best at the R5?

    100% abs, you don’t have a mystic r5 it’s good to always have a r5 Kate, she can do almost any fight. I can’t choose between fantman and hulkling. Both so good, don’t rank up Nick. I regret ranking mine as everyone now just pauses the fight at 1% in bgs.

    Lots of great options,could go with the ones that don't have 7*star versions like hulking,doom,aegon,torch,absorbing man,future antman and Kate
    Who are all amazing by the way,other Champs like kushala,serpent,bullseye,shuri,onslaught,prowler,photon and domino are great but they have 7 star version which you might not have or get soon,so go with who you enjoy the most can't go wrong with those options

    Red Mags has to be one of them. The way he destroys metal champs is something even an R4 wouldn't compete with. And, he completely cheeses the 9.1.6 boss, assuming you haven't finished that yet.
