When’s the game team going to react on content reward system?

As you know if you’re an end game player, the game has very outdated gaming mechanics or namely reward system… AQ, BG milestones, monthly quest, incursion store and so on… It’s been a long time since they’ve updated rewards or added new challange levels for paragon and valiant.

I think this is damaging the game in the long run. Even though I’ve spent near 30k usd during banquet, I’ve not spent a dime since then. With the current outlook, I’m not planning either. I only log in once a day to collect calendar awards but that’s it.

I really hope the gaming team has a concrete plan and make a change in the near future.

My expectations on these things getting “meaningfully” buffed have been tamped down quite a bit based on the banquet response post. There definitely seems to be a desire to keep a tight chain on overall progression and roster expansion among all summoners due to the goal of game longevity and how they plan to accomplish it.

Special events loosen this up - especially for spenders which means the counteracting force will be normal content always feeling underwhelming at best. And most of the time not worth the time or effort.

I think we will see reward buffs at some point in these things - but they will feel lackluster even then. That’s just not where the game is being taken.

Overall though - its OK to have points where you are just logging in to collect rewards. Over the last 10 years I've probably taken at least 3 6-12 month breaks from the game. I always come back, I always enjoy it.

When I'm not getting my kicks out of the game like I am right now, ill take another break.

So Kabam wants valiants to do more necropolis as there is nothing else to do

Some don't like necropolis and we have 1 valiant with 6 million rating account who cheated in necropolis using mutant team and gotten permanent ban

There is a real reason why end game reward is very tricky, Kabam is slowing down the end game rewards to delay the arrival of 8*

But what's so scary about 8* is the scaling
Some champions don't scale very well at 8*, they literally break the game
Hercules is stuck at 6* for that reason, create a 7* Hercules and he will break the game, necropolis had to nerf Hercules specifically for that reason
Not all 6* have 7* version for the same reason, some can break the game

It's the same with 8*, some 7* are already breaking the game with their abilities, who can stand against a 8* juggernaut?
