New Ares Boss and Color Blind players

In today's livestream, the new Ares boss was announced to not have icons for his abilities, just color cues. Can the game team find a way to be inclusive of color blind community players? This sems very unfair to them on the juiciest content rewards to date. Appreciate any discussion on this issue, thanks

Didn’t Bahamet also have color-based mechanics? I may be wrong but I don’t remember seeing a lot of complaints about that aspect of the fight

I don't play the game with sound - but maybe if there was a way that the sound effect of each ability could also be different? I feel like that would be a great way to help with colorblind players.

Id assume it's because for the orange blasts it won't consume the volatility charges so u can differentiate between them(aside from the icons)
And they stated tht there won't be any icons to give a heads up against Ares

In all seriousness, guess this goes to show how important accessibility is in game design. Not really something you think of straight away.

You take down her other ones in those scenarios which gets rid of it. If she has the untouchable take that down, dont do whichever is for the other stuff

I think you misunderstand how it works. If she were to have, (this may be inaccurate, just an example), evade on knockdowns and you need to knock her down, do the others first which gets rid of the evade on knockdowns

This would be a serious problem to you on Incursions

You interrupt her heavy by only punishing the final hit, giving you time to dash back if you miss before she can attack. You always get rid of the green spells first because they can stop you getting rid of the other spells
