I pulled CapIW from my first Incursion crystal, is he worth ranking up?

I'd say no. I just duped mine after a year, so I MIGHT, though he really wants max sig to take out the RNG aspect.

Only if you’re going to invest an awakening gem and sig stones in him. He’s a solid champ at high sig tho

He wants max sig and his highest utility is all synergy dependent. Very cool in a 2018 kind of way. He can still do some interesting stuff and he’s extremely tanky. But he seems to have lost his place in the game.

Yesterday someone on Alliance discord flexed his high sig Captain taking out Enche in single sp2

you wouldn't lose out on much damage without awakening so if you want damage he's not the worst

Capiw only needs high sig for utility. His damage is there evn unduped. And his dupe is irrelevant for bgs.

He just suffers from the same fate of other big sp2 nukes. If it crits, opponent will die for sure. If it doesn't, then bad luck for you.

He is a tanky attacker with glancing and is great against mystic as he has 100% chance to glance.

I think it's 100% increase against Mystics; so he goes from 30% to 60% Glancing against Mystics. Haven't checked lately, though.

He's also underrated on defense, as he's almost always charged up with physical resistance, energy resistance and glancing, on top of some of the best block proficiency in the game. Nothing complicated to handle, but a significant time stall.
