Stupid matchup!

Frankly as the title. I know there is no matchup based on BG deck rating anymore and it’s ok especially in GC. However, Kabam you should at least have matchup in same ranking title for example Gamma match with Gamma, Arcane with Arcane, not like this. This is just a very stupid matchup. Bonus with 12mil rating match with 4mil as well. Lol

The only reason you got that matchup was because there were no other matchups available when you entered to play. The options for Kabam are: give you a matchup against a player from a different bracket, or give you nothing. They're obviously not going to give you nothing.

Also, your champs look pretty stacked to me, so it was not an unfair matchup. Skill won.

Can we see the round summaries? It looks like you pulled a win on the first one and forced a round three. So even though your opponent’s account is way bigger, it seems like it was a close match

Play one GC match and walk away. Grinding from there is for the big boys. There’s no meaningful reward jump unless you are playing up there.

I can assure you, a higher account rating doesn’t make a player better than another player.

While it is uncommon to see matchups that far away in points while being that low, it means the other dude was probably matchmaking for awhile and the matchmaker couldn't find anyone else in the time that had past. If kabam made it more strict, then getting a single match in Celestial would be even more of a nightmare. I already know some of those players spend 30 minutes looking for a single match at the top.

Sure, but check out someone like Grass MCOC. He consistently takes out opponents even though his deck is full of R2s and even 6R5As, and the opponents are all R3s.
We can discuss the state of the game and deck construction etc., but crying about unfair matchups just because the opponent's champs are one level above yours (R3 vs R2, R4 vs R3) is pretty weak, especially for someone like OP whose alliance calls itself Assassinz. Not very assassin-like to cry to the forum about a tough matchup.

Dude those people like him or MSD spend whole day to play this game. Some of them even consider this is their job, which majority of us are not, how can you compare with them? I have a wife and 2 kids and a full-time job! There is nothing about crying here cuz this is just a game for me and most of people here. But Kabam need to make it fun, and enjoyable. The stupid matchup like this just create frustration and make people want to quit at the beginning. See Piloku’s response how less and less people playing now

I think you misunderstood Pikolu 's comment. I believe he's talking about Celestial, mysterium, because there are so few people in those groupings (by nature of the groupings). He's not saying less people are playing, but rather than the people at the top have to wait longer for a potential match due to there simply being less people in their bracket.

For an account like that to be only in gamma 1 1 week from season end suggests that he's making his run late or doesn't play much. You could have easily matched him in uru 3 had you played an hour or two earlier in that case.

You're at the mercy of peoples playing habits in the gc and can get out gunned at any rank for this reason.

Did he lose 51k to 50k? Or 35k to 25k? He doesn't show the actual scores, and I assume it's intentional.

It's not that big of a deal.
It's just unlucky that the game had to match you with him with that point difference.
If he was at your same points, which he definitely was many times, it wouldn't be much of an issue.
It is what it is. Sometimes these happens.

Just one bad matchup.
We ignore and move on.
While this is a genuine bad matchmaking, we can't lose sleep over one unfortunate event.
