Latency issues

When are these latency issues going to be addressed or even acknowledged? I have lost war fights because the fight just refused to load. I’ve had high latency during battlegrounds resulting in me not being able to select people to ban and missing phases of the draft. This has cost me fights and I’m assuming it’s happened to people I’ve been matched up with as well. This is just not good enough

While I have heard sporadic reports of such things and I've seen them myself infrequently, I haven't noticed them recently. I don't think it is a safe assumption to assume this is a problem with the game itself and everyone is experiencing them. This might be device related, connectivity related, or something unique to your circumstances.

Something must be different between, say, you and me for you to see these problems at a high frequency when I don't. But without knowing your situation in detail, there's no way to know what that might be. Just blaming the game won't help anyone find the problem, because it can't just be something that's fundamentally wrong with the game or everyone would see it. But it is possible there's something wrong that only crops up under a limited set of circumstances, and only a fraction of the players happen to find themselves in those circumstances.

Also, what you are describing are not latency issues. This might sound like a nit pick, but when I hear latency issues I think actual latency issues, and when I can't connect any possible latency issue to the problems you're experiencing, I either have to figure out what parts of your problem report to ignore, or reverse engineer what might happen to create the right symptoms someone might incorrectly describe as latency issues. It would be better to describe what you are seeing, and not atttempt to describe what you believe the problem is. That can cause people to dismiss the problem report as impossible to troubleshoot.

Well I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max running ios18.3 and I have a 10gb fibre optic connection. Yet I’m plagued by connectivity issues only on this game. If it helps I’m also in the uk

How frequent is the connectivity issue? (How many times out of 10 battlegrounds matches)

Does the connectivity issue happen after playing for a long period of time (30 mins and longer)

Does your phone feels warm or hot when there's connectivity issue?

I personally experienced connectivity issues on other games as well as MCOC but I would say it's very rare (0 incident this battlegrounds season) for me for all the games I play, it's just that the stakes are much higher for MCOC if and when it happens

Your 10 gig fiber connection is just from your house to the nearest interconnect point. How good your connectivity is to the game depends on all the other hops your connection needs to traverse, and that can be a complicated thing to determine for a couple reasons, among them the fact that ISPs often have multiple paths to the rest of the internet and the game itself isn't all concentrated in one place. We've seen cases in the past where some players had problems connecting to the game and not others, and the common denominator was geographic location or ISP vendor. And in some cases we've also seen issues that have affected iOS connectivity and not Android or vice versa, implying that different platforms connect to different systems that might have different ways to get to them.

One thing you could try is to get some free VPN app and see if connectivity changes if you VPN to a completely different place. That might suggest issues that affect a location or ISP routing area.

I don’t play for long periods of time.
My phone doesn’t get how when it happens and I played 2 bg matches today and it happened in one of them.
Also I’m not using a VPN app as I’ve seen people get banned for switching countries too often

Happened to me twice in the same incursions run today. Fight just keeps loading and when i restart the gae my own champ is down 50% health. Game state atm is very annoying

No, you haven't. Kabam does not ban on that basis. Personally, I've played MCOC while on long haul flights where my geolocation bounces around between ground stations at warp speed, and Kabam doesn't care at all. Whenever I see connection problem reports or I see them for myself, testing via VPN is the first thing I do to see if the problem is isolated geographically (technically, isolated by routing table or AS, but close enough here).
