Did you also get a tech r4 gem? Which champ did you rank up?

Tech and Skill kinda were the classes I wanted least, since there’s not a no 1 choice for me in those 2 classes. Personally I am torn between Prowler and Peni. Really love using both. But then there’s Zola coming soon, so I’m not sure if I should rank someone up now or hold on to the gem for a little while longer until I can try the new Titan and possibly get Zola and see how much I end up enjoying using him.

    I just got a Tech gem as well. Im leaning heavily into Prowler, then investing alot (7* tech AG, 150+ sigs etc)

    If you aren't sure, holding the gem until you are sure is the play.
    When you are sure, pull the trigger.

    I'd R4 Prowler if it was me.

    Went with Shocker, even over Prowler and Shuri. Feel like he needs the rank up the most. The other two can do fine at r3.

    Since there no benefit but having an R4 right now. You might as well hold if you aren't 100% sure who you would rank up. It would be different story if this R4 would give you a new progression level.

    I haven't gotten a tech r4 gem. I haven't gotten any r4 gem. That is because I have only done 1 path. I consider myself to be a fairly skilled valiant player. Now, I ask you, what kinda next level ting are you man on to be doing 6 paths in less than a week?

    Was about to say that. R4 shocker is a overkill but atleast now he can confidently nuke anyone except serpent in 30 secs.

    An R4 Sentinel would be an absolute monster on defense and offense. I already have an R3 at sig 80 so he would be one of my top choices for R4.

    Why not? He would be cool. Also his sig crit scales with rank. So a r4 might start punching after 5-6 charges, and deal as much as a r3 with 10 charges. That's a huge difference imo.

    Interesting. I always understood him to be like Galan, in the sense that, the higher the rank, the higher the damage.

    As for being overkill at r4, I'd rather have that than end up getting the opponent down to 1-5%, just to take a sp3 to the face. Though, I'm thinking of more than bgs as well.

    Galans burst damage doesn't increase with rank. It is tied to base attack rating which means it is tied to star rarity (and ascensions technically).

    Why do you think so?
    If we're talking about bgs here, r4 shocker will probably be doing 700k+ heavies after his normal ramp, which is way too overkill and r3 does those healthpools in a single ramp already. Prowler needs it the most as his crit rate increases with ranks, I would've for sure r4 prowler if I got tech instead of mutant.
