What’s your worst AI experience? Just versed an enchantress in bgs friendly who heavied only ONCE at the start of the match. And I couldn’t end it early as bishop immune to crits😭😭

    She's not just going to throw heavies for no reason.
    You have to learn how to bait them.

    I am a master at heavy baiting and sometimes the ai just doesn't throw heavies. Like they will do 2 billion comboes into your block and not throw a heavy.

    @TotemCorruption absolutely terrifying, spot on. This AI is honestly diabolical, predicting my movements like that. I just remembered that whenever I was overloading with more than 30 prowess, she backed AWAY from my block so it went down. We’re cooked 😤

    I'm not really defending the AI. I agree that it has become more skilled and at times ridiculous in its difficulty.
    But I try to push back when all the cretins jump in making claims that it's glitchy and that they can't parry or intercept or whatever, when the few times they actually show evidence or discuss specifics, it becomes obvious that they don't even know what an intercept is...
    So, AI more skilled and difficult to fight? I agree.
    AI glitchy and no one can intercept or dex or parry successfully? Skill issue nonsense....

    Fr! Sometimes I admit that,yes, it is certainly a skill issue that’s my problem. However, I’m no amateur, and sometimes it is as if the AI KNOWS what my next move will be. In all honestly though, I should have known what she would have done once my storm relic was parried DURING an intercept. Wild

    Epoch is the prove that Kabam changes the aí for specific places. On hard content the ai is either aggressive or passive depending on what you have to do in the fight. Arena won't let you parry, won't let you bait their specials

    Was this a point of dispute? Anyone who plays even the 4* Arena and the featured arena can tell that the AI is different across different modes.
    If Kabam offered an AI with the same skill level across all content that would be stupid....
    Skilled players don't want a TB or lower level AI...That would make them quit from boredom.
    Novice players don't want everest-level AI; that would make them quit from difficulty.

    Attempted to intercept Bullseye but got light intercepted, this happened four times in a bg fight.

    (Can’t complain as I probably had the nicest AI as the final boss in aw)

    Is the expectation to stream/record every fight in order to capture the nonsense? If I try and screen record, my game lags more and impacts my play so I don't like to do that. I do however frequently deal with AI issues or dropped inputs. For reference I have a 7mil+ acct and have been playing for about 7 years so I certainly know when there are differences. I cannot provide visual evidence because I don't record my gameplay. Does that mean that I don't have a leg to stand on when I am frustrated by issues in game?

    Well, first, your experiences and frustrations are valid regardless of anything someone like me says, so "leg to stand on" shouldn't really be an issue.

    Second, doesn't it really depend on specifics? Like what the specific issue is, even if you don't have any video or something to back it up?

    If someone says: "it's impossible to intercept in the game anymore": that's kind of a lazy cretin post imo. Like, they don't even discuss if they're talking about light intercepts or mediums or anything, or what the context is, or anything.

    If you're saying you frequently deal with dropped inputs? I don't know. I guess I'd be interested in more information. What's "frequent"? What kind of dropped inputs? I experience them too sometimes, but sometimes I can also catch myself and realize I just didn't swipe or tap hard enough, other times I did and it should've registered. That's frustrating, and I've seen streams (even of Kabam designers) yelling about it.

    Well, there's a difference between saying "lazy AI complaints are dumb" and directly pointing a finger at someone and saying "I think you are dumb."
    No one should even feel directly insulted by the former unless they identify themselves with those types of complaints in the first place....

    And what does that have to do with my comment? I didn't say same there should be equal ai for everything, but how differently ai acts in terms of "independent thought"

    Easily, my third path of EOP where I had a solid chance of soloing Ares, but as soon as he got 2 bars of power he had played possum and I could not bait a special no matter what I did. He just kept blocking and then kept dashing in with MLL. For 25 seconds(at least) I played around trying to get him to bait a special and he wouldn’t do it. Of course, as soon as those pesky bars turned red, bam, sp3, game over. I had him down to 2% and was at 96% health with Kushala. But no, Ares had different plans. Took me 4 revives from there to kill him. Sometimes I hate this game.
