Current state of arena

Why is it that the only champs you fight in arena these days is bs difficult champs. Arcade, domino, duped nick fury, Korg, duped Emma,...are they the only champs in the game or what? I get good practice fighting these champs and I get it. But I don't get the chance to pick good counters to these champs during a match and I end up losing my streak every arena cycle. I'm using 2 rank 1 7*s and a rank 3 or rank 4 duped 6*. Not being death matched. Just wondering why there is not a decent array of champs.

You face champions that other players use. Especially as you get higher up, you're likely to see a smaller pool of champs because players are ranking up champs they enjoy and champs that are great or at least have use. Nature of the beast.

I get what you are saying but I can constantly 1-5% and have gotten the champ at 6* a lot. I average 8- 900000 with my roster so reaching all milestones in both arenas is roughly 2 passes each. Most of my 6*s are rank 4 at least and I have most of them except for the few I use to get up to 15 ( and I can't seem to pull apocalypse no matter what I do) I have 45 7*s 1 at rank 3 , 4 at rank 2. The rest are rank 1/25. I run suicides and the deep wounds dispair, tree so my pi is as high as I can get. I'm paragon. I'm mostly complaining because the algorithms getting harder. The champs I fight are pulled from that person's roster, but unless that is the only 3 champs they have in their whole roster ranked up, the algorithm is pulling bs champs on purpose out of their roster. Sometimes all 3 fights are bs. All 3 cosmic so you don't have advantage, domino, arcade, serpent all duped 7*s in a single match ( 6*domino my bad). If she goes lucky you're almost always screwed. Seems like that's all I fight. And I still win most of the time. I use arenas for units. Hard enough when battleships have been nerfed to only give you gold. Opened 1000000k throne breaker Battle chips and got 125 units and the rest gold. That's like impossible bs

I don’t run arena as often and I don’t see them as regularly as you are describing.

And … I have a smaller roster.

It doesn’t pull a team from their roster
It uses a team that the other player has used while playing arena

If you struggle in arena you either don't have the roster (which makes your criticism legit) or you have the roster but aren't any good. I'm leaning towards the second option.

Just wait out lucky if it's screwing you over so bad every time.

You chose the high risk, high rewards battleships. If you wanted the units without the high risk/reward ratio, you should have done uncollected or normal. They haven't been nerfed.

If you keep on digging low on your roster to do matches the game picks out tougher defenders and higher PI. They might not be as bad as a deathmatch but still it does that.
You might want to mix a few of the lower ones with higher ranks and might solve the issue.
I only do milestones, use 7r3s-r1s. Only get 2 or 3 "tough" matches per arena grind.

So many things to disect here, starting with that username....but if your having issues with korgs and champs like that in arena maybe you just need more practice.

Your attitude is incredibly uncalled for. Everyone lives a different life and has different things they have to deal with. Most players aren't Valiant because they bought their roster. In fact, the majority of Valiant players are free-to-play or have very minimal spending. You're just being salty if you think people had to buy their way to the top progression. Skill and roster get you there.
Your complaints about arena make sense, but lead to the assumption of a skill issue. Arena is probably the easiest game mode in the game and yet you're complaining about the difficulty of it because of the champs you have to face. We all have to face them, yet you're the only post on here with the complaint. But at the same time you say you're winning most of the fights, so then why complain?
Arenas isn't a place for variety and fun. It's a place to shut off your brain and grind units as quickly as you can and move on.

It sounded like you rushed through all the fights regardless of the match up then lost. Yes there are tougher defenders but you just have to choose the best counter available. Health pools are normal and higher chance to win than if you face them at war or BG. In the worst scenario that you lose one match, it’s ok just need to win the other 2 matches to keep your streak

I'm back. Ok I get i went to harsh, but I'm a very good player. I beat the act 8 nameless grandmaster without ten tons of revives. I watch people on YouTube and I am smart about counters... etc. what I came here for was an answer. I was better off asking someone on YouTube while they were live. But I figured it out. I needed to run my top champs in order. Not picking a 6* to run with my 7* rank 1s. Just run my 7*s then 6*s and poof. It was easy. I see now the forum has been taken over with bs so I won't come back. Sorry for the hate I spewed. I was frustrated. Peace ✌️ Jeremy.

They're really easy for me. First I use all my 6-star ascended R5s, which gets me through 6 matches. Then I use all my 7s in order from most powerful to least. I use the 6s first, because that way I'm getting max points by the time I start using the 7s.

What bothers me is that we can't use pre-fights on champs in arena fights. The phase is more of a practice phase for me, but it would be nice to be able to try out the pre-fights.

If you’ve beaten necro (doubtful) arena should be the least of your concerns. It’s stupid easy, and the best way to get units. I don’t want Kabam touching arena with a 10 foot pole

I’ve been demolishing arena. I’ll lose 1 fight out of every 100, but I never have to start over. Arena gives a good amount of chips/units when you do the math. It’s just a time commitment.

Pitted against Deathless Thanos and 7* R4 Onslaughts and Photons 4x in a row on diff matches in Arena today….. nowhere close to having even 1 r4 and have no deathless champs.
The grind is already GRINDY, the current matchups make it feel even worse!

This is normal when a new rank is introduced. Happens every single time. Give it time.

New players shouldn't be worried about the top arena. They should be working the summoners trials.

Not a lot of people grind arena so I understand where you’re coming from, the second you get a high streak and run out of 7* r3s and r2s to use (sometimes even using r2s), you are essentially guaranteed to fight a champ like bullseye, serpent, enchantress, etc. Its very odd because when you use 7* r3s, you often fight a basic thanos or kang team consisting of very easy defenders. It would be more ethical for harder defenders to be paired with higher ranked champions being used, seeing as arena is already a big time investment.

The issue is this isn’t AW or BGs, AQ or Raids. This is a means for players to pay in time to earn their rewards. Its not a “get good” moment, but a pivotal point for players to earn their resources, maybe even target a champion they have use for.

Noticing it from few days but today it was just mind-blowing, every single time I hold block still she throws it, as if the AI KNOWS that if it don't throw specials it's cooked in 5 punches, way over tuned at this point.
