TIL after playing this game for 7 years

that you can use the right side of the screen for medium attacks! Also using the left thumb for mediums is not very common WHAT? Ever since I have started playing the game I have used left for medium and right for light and I assumed that's how everyone fight. How do you folks do it? Cause this has gotten me into a slight plight.

For the love of God, I am completely unable to use my right thumb for medium, it just feels so wrong and seeing how many people voted right is making me go CRAZY! I think I am beyond redemption now.

I never really paid attention to what thumb was doing what. Now it’s in my head.

It’s like thinking of breathing, swallowing or blinking.
Once you think of it your brain gets in the way.

Fun fact: You can avoid blexterities (blocking a hit when dexing) by dexing with your right thumb just because dexing with your left thumb will trigger a block input first.

It's good to do that with juggs when dashing back because if you use your left thumb it will input as a block first before dexing. By using your right thumb it just dexes without blocking first so you don't lose any unstoppable.

I've been playing for over 7 years and I still only use my right middle finger for everything. That technique got me to Valiant with over 1,400 champs and 24,000 prestige. I've occasionally tried to learn how to fire specials with my left thumb, but I just can't figure out how to hold the phone in a way that makes that work.

I use left thumb + right index finger on my phone. Right thumb holds the phone.

I use left thumb for parry, dex, specials, and mediums with reverse controls. I use right thumb for medium, light, and heavy.

It kinda changes as you get more into the game, i dex sometimes with the right side while on blocking trying to bait specials. It comes in clutch especially with epoch.

Middle finger is insane.

I'll have to record a fight with someone else's phone sometime. Middle finger is the longest one, so I probably settled on using that one because it has the most ability to hop over to the special button. I did use the right index finger in the beginning before settling on the middle finger. In my old age, the index fingers tend to "wear out" and get numb faster. I also mostly only type with my two index fingers, and thumb for the space bar.

This method may handicap for some of the more complex, you must perform these exact actions fights. I remember having a hard time using the She-Hulk method in one of those Summer of Sorrow fights. I'm not the greatest player. I do tend to rely on more revives for boss fights than I see other people using. My Necro run when it first came out took over 100 revives. Not sure if my skill issues are because of my playing method, brain problems, or a little of column A and a little of column B. I just recently explored Act 9, and the Scourge path took me about 12 revives, which was an improvement over my first two Orochi runs.

I’m somewhat dexterous but couldn’t do anything play game without all thumbs.

I always start the dash with the left thumb and continue it with the right thumb. Too quick for the AI that way.

And the tip I learned for reverse controls is easy, just flip your phone upside down.

Taking a trip back to when there were 1 (or 2) languages supported in game (ie, Arabic, not sure about if Hebrew was also in game), which is written Right to Left.
Well, they also had their GUI controls, layout, etc reversed as well (if I recall correctly).
So Setting gear was on Right corner, stash and other icons were from Left side of screen, etc.

Always wondered if the position of champs in fight was also reversed as well playing with that language ?? ie, Attacker on Right, Defender on Left.
And how that would probably throw someone for a loop if they then changed their game language over to English (or whatever) once Arabic was removed from game.

Right thumb only light attacks. Left thumb does everything else. Sometimes when I do arenas and am doing something else, I hold my phone with left hand and fight. Parry, m, m. Repeat

I hold phone with index and thumb with both hands and use the back of my little finger for both depending on the defending and node. I thought I was the only one.
