Can somebody explain to me why the chat is delete

    In game? What do you see happening? Like you send a message and it doesn't go through, or old messages are deleted?

    It would make sense. No need for old messages to take up server space. I couldn't imagine how many messages would still exist after 10 years of they didn't have an expiration.

    Yes. Kabam doesn't want to archive every chat message typed in by every summoner over the last 10 years... that would eat up too much server storage, and be mostly unnecessary. They keep messages around for a while, then delete the old ones.

    in our alliance chat, it seems to clear the history at least once per week, but no big loss there

    Yes, messages, whether in Ally Chat or direct with individuals (or BG's too I imagine) get cleared after somewhere between 4-7 days.

    So can’t leave permanent messages there.

    Yes, when I had access, messages got deleted after some time.

    The question is, how you can even enter messages or swipe friends list,if it's not working right now. Only with luck after hundred tries.

    Kabam don't want people to have in-game friends.
    Dropping cash in the game, that's all that matters.

    Private chat, alliance chat last for a few days before reset, while incursion room chat got deleted immediately after left the room
