I've been here for most of a decade, and the amount of "I'm quitting and here's why!" Threads I've seen are numerous. Not one of them led to a constructive conversation. Entitlement isn't saying "I think the Rewards should be buffed.". Entitlement is saying "A bunch of people think the Rewards should be buffed and Kabam never acknowledged it, but they have things for sale, so I'm quitting.".

Did you read the part “selling us stuff instead of FIXING issues with the game” ? I mean,..that’s a pretty broad statement,..there’s probably a bit of depth to that. I wouldn’t speak for the OP when you’re leaving some of his statement out,..but whatever …you do you.
As much as I said kabam should buff the rewards im just chilling and grinding
Waiting till june so far and 4th July will flood the gates for rank 4. And in couple months if they don’t buff the rewards throughout the game they just gonna sell everything in July 4th.
It would actually be crazy if rewards don’t get improved by July 4th sales.
Right now I’m just saving,
2025 we just heading into so many sales and kabam being money hungry, pretty much “save” or buy “offers” nowdays from kabam.
3 nexus titans and 5 titans for bastion and jean grey.
As much as I complain here it’s no problem, I been dealing with this game for longest time and people come and go.

You're absolutely right. I must be ignoring the idea that they should stop selling things because there are unresolved issues. That's certainly the smartest business decision.
It’s a mobile game. It’s not something you “have” to do. It’s a fun getaway from other real life stuff like any other video game.
I do agree to this. Some of us, we do not watch the streams nor care what they wanna do. If I can get the champ through normal means, sure imma go for it. If not, I don't give a ****. The champ becomes obsolete in some few months time anyway so why bother buying anything?
2. Spending money on this champ will just encourage them to continue on this road. If some of you kids will grow up and start saving your YouTube money and hard earned money on things like these, maybe they will start to learn some...yhh.

And i never said stop selling,,,maybe they could try multitasking? Lol. I know their priority is to sell and make money,,,doesn’t mean other areas of the game need be neglected,..just sayin. Anyway,..i know you won’t stop,,,so i will Have a good night .
@SlayerOfGods A bunch of toxic derailment going on in this thread that was meant to be about a serious issue with someone's decision to leave the game. Why are you not trying to police it?
Sorry buddy, I'm not an elite 24/7 forum warrior like you. Perhaps one day I'll reach your status.
I know you're not here 24/7, that's why I tagged you. I thought you cared about policing threads for toxic derailment since you've been lecturing me about it on multiple occasions. But I guess it wasn't about that at all, so I apologize for the misunderstanding.
I find this behavior toxic and derailing to the subject.
The whole Thread is just toxic. Someone is quitting because the Livestream didn't give people what they wanted to hear, and they're offering things for sale. Yeah, that's constructive.
You are really going to compare making a post "venting" and criticizing the state of the game to trying to bring someone who hasn't even participated in the thread into an argument? Lol Drop the wisdom part man, doesn't suit the logic at all. The livestream? Maybe they should go back into having a road map or something instead of having this 1 hr long infomercials. Or even better how about having both so players have something to look fowardd towards the year insteand of being hammered with just sales. I would invite you to take a look at the pinned post recapping the livestream, which is the equivalent of an official post. 90% of it is stuff for sale and the great announcement of recycling the gauntlet.

Disregarding others experiences is quite toxic mate. Especially for a senior member like you.
If this was one of the standard complain threads I'll agree with you, But trust me, majority of players feel like how OP is feeling rn. A lot of us can relate with him.
This thread is a valid criticism against kabam but you portray it as some cope.

You guys should all quit, seriously. And that's not me trying to be a jerk about it. Yes there are the "Kebem" and "Kascam" cretins out there who are basically walking memes. But for reasonable people like the OP who seem genuinely miserable and upset over the state of the game, and for others who feel exactly like he does, find something else to do with your free time that doesn't make you miserable and upset.
I understand where the OP is coming from, and I recognize validity in some of his complaints. At the end of the day, those issues don't really bother me and I'm having a blast playing the game. For those people who aren't having a blast, what are you still doing here?

If you consider anything said in this tread to be toxic you are either one of the most emotionally weak people I've ever seen OR you're a troll hoping to incite some bs but can't manage subtlety. Either way relax and when threads actually do go down the sewer pipe remember all you gotta do is keep scrolling. It makes all the toxicity suddenly just vanish
Look at the thread again, do you notice how people are responding to EvilDavid666 but none of his posts are still there? They got removed. Those were the posts I was referencing.

See that's the problem. Its not black and white, its not about having a blast or being miserable. You can just be in the gray area of just not being overly hyped happy and just enjoying the game; but not liking the current state. Personally I am starting to find it hilarious that livestreams have become infomercials other than using a very sincere and transparent platform to address the positive and negatives of the game. People talk about a disconnection between the game and the community, and its totally understandable when the direct communication is all about sales and the problems with the game you have to go to 3rd party sites to find out if they are being addressed. Sure finding about reworks and the stuff you can acquire even by buying is nice, they could also take 5 mins to talk about the direction of issues instead of having us dig trello boards, discord, forums, social media and other outputs. The 30 secs the sigil "update" had was pretty awkward for example.

Sure, you're right, and the mere fact that you even recognize you're in a "gray area" shows you have a healthy approach to the game overall and aren't overly emotional about it. It's the minute I read stuff that sounds like people's mommy/daddy issues being transposed onto their feelings toward Kabam that I cringe and think, jeez, that person needs to take a break and find a healthier hobby for their fragile mental state.

I quit the game four months ago and came back yesterday, people throw around the words "just quit" as if that fixed anything. If it was simple for people to quit playing something they genuinely enjoy and are passionate about then you wouldn't see any complaints at all which is what the forums are for at the end of the day. It's not that people are miserable, they're simply passionate about this game, and there's nothing wrong with people wanting the state of the game to change so it can be more enjoyable for them. A lot of the people I see commenting on this thread are the same people that were here praising the devs when Necropolis came out all the way back in December 2023 and I know cause I remember their names, these aren't just random players who complain for the sake of complaining because they're biased and hate the devs. When you have old players complaining about the same thing then that has to tell you something especially when the complaints themselves are reasonable. I'm not sure if the rewards op is talking about are BGs ones strictly but when was the last time milestone rewards were updated? 2023? Lol

I can't dispute anything you say. All I can add is that at a certain point, even if the criticism is valid, me or someone else can find ourselves in a cycle of frustration, where we're spending our precious free time in a mental state of complaints rather than enjoyment. At the end of the day, it's just a game, it's supposed to be fun. If people didn't center their identities and self-worth around it, I bet there'd be a lot less misery on the forums.
I'm in an average low-key alliance. People come and go all the time. None of them really step foot in the forums or follow the streams or anything. When they get bored or upset or just busy, they stop playing and stop engaging. That's like 99% of the player pool. I think that's healthy and reasonable.

I'm talking about a general trend, not any specific person. I can go through any random recent threads, pull out posts, and show exactly the type of psychology I am talking about, where you can literally replace Kabam with mommy/daddy and it would read a lot more coherently. But then, I feel like that would be too much and truly toxic, even by my standards.

Even when you are replying to a proper response like mine you can't help attacking people and you call others toxic? Mommy and daddy issues? Come on man judge the facts before the person.
Are you a psychologist? Cause you sound like an egotistical narcissist....
Disregarding others experiences is quite toxic mate. Especially for a senior member like you.

Well yeah some people genuinely don't care about the game as much as others and that's fair, however a game that might be a simple distraction for some, might be an actual hobby for others and for them things that might seem small to casual players are a bigger deal depends from what side you look at it so the best thing you should do here is just agree to disagree and move on. At the end of the day, these complaints won't do any harm to your or your alliance teammates since you're just casual players playing the game casually and if the devs end up listening to these complaints and improving the game well then that will benefit casual players as well.

Yeah, I think that's a good point, and probably the biggest gap in my thinking. This forum isn't really for casual players, and if I come in with a casual attitude about things, that's going to conflict with a lot of the stronger emotions other forumites have about the game. That's a good perspective to keep.

Elliott Rodgers, Billy Mays, I have no idea who these people are. Or if I'm even too old or too young or too uneducated to get them.

Entitlement isn't saying "I think the Rewards should be buffed.". Entitlement is saying "A bunch of people think the Rewards should be buffed and Kabam never acknowledged it, but they have things for sale, so I'm quitting.".
And people here telling me I need to quit
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
2. Spending money on this champ will just encourage them to continue on this road. If some of you kids will grow up and start saving your YouTube money and hard earned money on things like these, maybe they will start to learn some...yhh.
But then again it's all good
I know their priority is to sell and make money,,,doesn’t mean other areas of the game need be neglected,..just sayin.
Anyway,..i know you won’t stop,,,so i will
Have a good night .
Drop the wisdom part man, doesn't suit the logic at all.

This forum is about 1% of the player base.
If they go all Disney on this game, I’ll bounce and just keep living my life and say it was great while it lasted.
There are a ton of good games out there.
