Ares is still broken

I am in second to last phase of Ares and he did 2 flashes so I did the special 2 dex and when it got to the minigun I swiped up and it only missed the first hit and I got hit by the other 2 or 3 bullets. Can this be fixed please?

    Are you swiping on the left or right side? I was doing left at first and it was really inconsistent. I swapped to right and never had a problem again.

    Swiped up once (deliberately)on the left side, worked every time

    You need to pause very briefly before swiping
