Curious what everyone thinks of the show so far

Other than that, I really enjoyed it. The story is compelling, Charlie Cox continues to be incredible in the role, as do the other returning cast members. And the fight scene at the end of episode 2 (not in the costume) was exactly what Daredevil should be. I’m gonna spend more time complaining about the thing I don’t like, but I wanna be clear that the show is absolutely worth the watch.
My big knock is that they took away Foggy and Karen as characters that we knew and loved and filled their spots with new characters who were just… doing the exact same thing the old ones could have done. Like, the new partner is Foggy and the investigator is Karen. The character dynamic with Cherry (the investigator) is slightly tweaked, and I get that they wanted to put a new love interest in so Karen needed a reason to rotate out of that role, but with all the time that’s passed since then (and the fact that Matt had canonically gotten with She-Hulk in that time), it just feels like this was unnecessarily slamming the door shut on those characters when they could’ve been just kinda… moved off screen for later.
And if anyone asks why I rate Netflix a 8/10 is because honestly season 2 is not that great after punisher arc, and having to watch defenders in between S2-S3 really sucks
DDBA: Oh, hai, here's a guy getting his arm snapped, here's Matt leaping on a guy's leg, here's a guy getting headshot, here's a load of dirty cops getting their throats slit brutally. Wait til you see what Fisk does to the Commissioner's head!
me: HOLY ****ING HELL!!!
DDBA: Wait, there's more! Here's Frank snapping a guy's arm, too!
me: *gibbers* WTF is the Punisher special presentation going to be like?!?!?!
If Danny, Luke, Jessica and Misty don't show up in season 2, I'm going to be hella disappointed. I'd love Pete to, as well, but I know that won't happen due to the deal with Sony...
My only issue is that the show obviously wanted us to think frank was going to be killed but it fails because there's no way Bernthal would have come back to play punisher if they were going to just kill him off so that aspect of the finale fell flat for me a bit.
Also I hate Heather. Hot take i know
Also, Spiderman during the city being set on fire and martial law being declared:
I also think they really didn't do enough with the whole cops using his logo thing. He basically didn't even mention them using his logo and seemed more concerned with them not having dealt with the loss he's dealt with? Compared to the comic storyline it just felt like they were too afraid of offending actual cops which was only made worse by the fact that it wasn't even just corrupt cops it was specifically cops that were so bad kingpin basically told them they were allowed to go no body cam. Maybe it's just me but it felt hollow
Overall a good episode though, excited for season 2 but waiting to see how different it will be without the complete overhaul of the show
