Portal Bug in EQ - 3.1

There's a portal on the 1* Chest in 3.1 of this month's EQ that's bi-directional - you take the portal over and then can take the portal back or just progress on the path. Of course you'd only notice it if you're auto-fighting it

Haven’t gotten up to 3:1 yet.
But are you saying that once you do the first normal portal, there is another portal at that endpoint too (which whether you are doing Manual or Auto, you would have to respond to as well) ??

Otherwise (if what you are implying), is there is BOTH a normal walking path, in addition to a Portal, both from the same node ?? Don’t think that would even be possible with the software, (bugged or not, seems not possible to even have it as a mistake).

So you start the 1* Chest path, then eventually you hit a portal, which takes you to the destination node. From THAT node, you can continue along the next walking path as you normally would, OR you can take the portal BACK to the previous portal node, from which you can only go back through the portal.

Can confirm. I was in TB though, so I didn't get to see a ping pong match, but it is funny. Glad it isn't as bad a bug as previous portal issues that would ruin the quest.
