Kabam Out of touch or simply ignorant?

I am honestly annoyed seeing this every month. I don’t think how valuable they think a 6 star awakening gem is now but the days of 6 star items being a coveted reward is behind us. The focus has shifted towards 7 stars even for those below Valiant and Paragon, 7 star rank 3 and 4 are becoming the new meta but the reward is seemingly stuck on a time capusle. I have no complaints with the rewards below the final milestone but instead of having something useful as the top milestone they just seem to copy-paste the same thing every other month. This is even worse than a 6 star crystal cause at least that gives some 7 star shards. Don’t even feel like getting the top milestone cause it’s just another nothing burger to throw in my pile of nothing burgers.

Well sq will probs see a change when valiant eq gets added so later in year also they cant give out 7 gems so if they buff the sq event solo milestones it be 7 awakening shards

They already addresses it, they stated that these rewards are tailored for paragons and will be implementing changes to fit valiant. Most likely during mays trial run.

Hopefully Valiants start getting 7* awakening gem shards. Even 500 would be nice.

I dont mind 6* AG being the top reward because this is still catered to paragons. I am also ok to wait for the proposed valiant rewards yet to come.

The problem is that Kabam has gone from overly complicating side quests to overly simplifying it. The SQ instructions were becoming a thesis and we complained so they simplified it to these 3 opponents plus boss format. Then they decided that easier to understand means easier rewards. Now we get mysterium and 6* AG everytime!

Why not provide more complicated defender + node combos or limit the roster like the annual champ list series but give more diverse rewards for each path. I wont even mind a unique reward per path plus mysterium at completion and no top reward. So many options that will not be excessive - 5k 7* shards, t2 primordial dust, 6* relic shards, t6cc fragments, t4a fragments, etc.

Isn’t it always 8k 7* shards and 2k titans. It’s just usually sourced from a different place. Like last month was just 2k shards in the special objective tab every week. So after 4 weeks it becomes 8k in total. The month before that was similar except was 4k shards for week 1 and week 3. 8k has been the standard 7* shard for a while now as well as 2k titan.

But…. We’re all still using 6-stars here and there, the 7-star ranks going up is progress enough.

pretty much soon the Paragon Gauntlet will be the Valiant Gauntlet and 7-star dupe gems will be likely follow.

7-stars have got at least 2 more years of viability.

Besides that, people pay quite a lot for additional 7-star loot, handing it all out for free or jumping straight to 8-stars a month later would be like ripping them off!

Make it a selector gated by progression level...500 7* AG shards sounds reasonable as others have suggested. The other option in the selector is the 6* AG. They can pick the progression level cap as the see fit (whether its Val/Par or Val then everyone else).

In my view they are both out of touch AND ignorant. Items in the game economy have always been widely over valued (sig stones I'm looking at you too)

That's the issue, the range of Valiant players is too big. It goes from people who have a handful of 7* champs and just got their 2nd R3, to people who have multiple 7* R4s and a fully BG deck of 7* R3s, who don't even think about 6*s anymore.

The weird pacing of Valiant made the game really awkward in the past year. No Valiant EQ, and most of the times not even a Valiant SQ means that many players don't even bother with EQ and SQ anymore, and to compensate for that Kabam has pushed out a lot of Endgame Content like Crucible and Epoch which is targeted towards the high-end Valiant players. Thus no matter what piece of content Kabam announces, there is always a huge amount of Valiant players who either don't think it's worth to do if it's something like a new SQ, or a different group of Valiant players who think the new content is way too hard if it's something like Epoch.

The elegant solution would have been a Valiant EQ and SQ many months ago with rewards that allow Valiant players to close the gap faster, while also launching a new title in the next few months for those endgame players.

Kabam is stuck in a time capsule, they just lost , can't figure out AI , prompts that don't work , messed UI for months , but they can waste time raising the difficult of AW cause that's what the game needs , rewards still the same BTW, the game is getting worse every month , and nothing is being done cause they're wasting time doing nothing .

As the person you quoted was saying, these aren't Valiant specific events by includes other titles too. We currently don't have events separated for titles like this. So it has to have rewards everyone, not just Valiants.
