Is it impossible for you guys to play test nodes for BG’s or??

Because there’s about 6-7 defenders that with the new gladiator circuit node, are literally unbeatable without taking at least half of your health in damage.
This is a genuine question here, because these nodes feel completely non-player friendly. Just another one of those “Well, they got _____ so now I just lose” metas.

    Sure, Hulk, duped Nova, AEgon, Medusa without Rintrah is basically a guaranteed loss, Galan, need I go on?
    Nodes like this don’t belong in the gamemode, because they are 110% complete luck based. You either get the few counters for it, or you’re done for.

    After playing a bit more though, I will say the fights can be worked around to an extent- but this is absolutely just a “outdraft” meta. Whoever gets more of the cheesy defenders, just wins.

    It’s not my fault Kabam doesn’t play test the nodes before launch.
    To answer your question though, I’d very much like a node- where skill prevails over RNG- whether that be in A.I. behavior like the intercept node, or this one and the special damage meta- where it was draft dependent.
    Metas like this really aren’t enjoyable for most high end players.
    I get what you’re trying to say, but it’s been a good while since my last post- I’ve been weening off the mode more and more due to my frustration with it.
    As my posts have more or less always pointed to. I appreciate your input though.

    False, against the more popular defenders- you will 100% get hit at least a few times trying to set up Shang’s slow, Valk’s pierce, Silk’s slow, Tigra and Rintrah’s neutralize, Chee-Lith’s SP1, and Wiccan’s neutralize.
    Tell me again how I know nothing about the mode or the matchups please, I’m all ears.

    Even the at that rank that hulk is rank 3, that aegon is a rank 5 ascendend, at least you faced a rank fourth 7* aegon, your comment has not sense, even if I am at gamma and you to celestial the figths and the nodes are the same.
    I don’t understand what you’re saying, I’ll be honest with you- I think there is a language barrier; are you saying the nodes don’t matter when ranks differ?
    If so, no offense but you couldn’t be more wrong. As whenever you get to those high ranks, all you play against are the best of the best cheesy defenders and attackers. Then it’s literally just a coin flip, on if you get outdrafted or not.
    In the lower ranks, most people only have 3-4 of the best options- so once you ban them it’s typically pretty free wins.

    I honestly forget about these posts after I make them about 90% of the time, but it’s no biggie.

    Yes, and if you watch his streams- about 90% of his wins or losses are outdrafts from either side.
    Plus, I have insider info to tell you for a fact he farms points off friends of his on his in game list.

    If only half of the more meta defenders, don’t allow you the chance to put a slow debuff on them… hmmmmm that is a thinker, for sure.

    I don't know anything about that, but I was chatting with another Celestial player, just asking for pointers and stuff, and he said that a lot of the Celestial guys use Victory shields every match once they get into the higher tiers.
    Can't tell if he was trolling me or being serious....

    With shang, who most players have ranked up, only nova is a headache. Shehulk can nuke all these. There are many options beyond the top 5.Every meta has pros and cons you can always place medusa nova aegon hulk on defense as well.

    Sorta, most of us know one another by username though since there’s only about 2-300 of us online at the same time for the timezones; so we match each other quite often.
    Most people beat Bero at least about 2-3 times a day, and then you check his rank…. and he’s still at the top.
    Despite losing much more than he wins, when he’s on stream.
    I’ll let you draw your own conclusion, but I’ve seen him win trade myself- when a server I’m in with other high level players; had a player (Bero is friends with) streaming by accident, and showing him sniping Bero to let him farm points off of him.

    You are right, but I still stand by what I said- always seems like there is one “obvious outlier” as I like to call them; who is just basically unbeatable without the 2 counters for them.
    Last meta it was Count, this meta it’s Nova.
    Just kinda seems like Kabam is just copy pasting RNG draft metas- and changing the paper a bit; so it’s not plagiarism.

    I'm curious if kabam actually knew of this interaction between the node and nova, if they didn't know this could happen because it wasn't tested then some of the critics made by op can be agreed even if he wasn't constructive with this post

    The other half can get dealt with nullify, neutralize, stagger....
    I think you need to re do your deck.

    Isn't that always the case at the very top of any sport or game or field?
    Skill gets you close, but at some point the competition is too stiff and everyone has to use whatever advantage they can?
    Whether it's steroids, or backroom deals, or what have you...
    Seems kinda silly to me in the context of a mobile game, but I guess if there are YT streams or some other clout involved maybe it becomes more than just a game for some people...

    @Seyuoh nova can be countered by anyone, he is annoying but you can play around it if you dont have a direct counter


    Only real defender that you absolutely need a counter this meta is Medusa, rest is pretty manageable.
