Ares Epoch of Pain light prompt

Had my first run for completion and found the light prompt impossible to get. The only time I got it was after it was suggested to spam it, but that leads to failing the next prompt.

For context, I am timing the light as if it was a parry of the Ares hit. The only time I succeeded, my character threw the light and had the accomplished prompt flash way after the Ares hit.

I found that I had to do the light prompt on the right side of the screen. Once I found that out for myself, I was successful every time. Don't know if that will help or not.

You do your lights with the left side? What do you do with your right hand lol

It’s probably not helpful, but when I figured out the timing for the light-interrupt, it felt like I was throwing it slightly late.

The timings are somewhat flexible in ever-changing speed of ares specials.
For light, you can do it slightly earlier than you'd do a parry. It worked for me
