Why does anybody like Red Hulk?

Well, I knew it would happen to me eventually. My fear of pulling Red Hulk from the Titan crystal came true. I personally don't understand what anybody likes about this champion, but now that he's taking up room on my 7 star roster, I'm curious as to what uses he has.

What am I missing?

Imo, he is really not that bad, it's just that his kit is old. He has great damage once ramped up, I'll say a moderate tune up that allows him to ramp faster and apply different debuffs using bis beat charges will make him a 5/10 to 8 or 9 out of 10.

I'm mad they chose to release him before wasp or ibom. They deserve to shine more among the limited 7* pool.

OP, you’re not missing anything. 5/10 is about right, the definition of mid.

I have no idea why he has such staunch defenders.

He has a very simple kit. He destroys mystics, burst damage is nice. Dual immunities. Nothing too crazy, but he’s definitely not an L pull like my sig 60 patriot.

Kebem saw that comment and immediately changed biohazard paths and now Redhulk is nothing but king of duds

Synergy team makes him useful but it’s hard to run him stand alone.

He’s an absolute L, especially from a Titan. I hope you didn’t pull him three days before the Titan pool gets considerably stronger…

He’s a science champ with sort-of incinerate immunity. That’s the only notable thing about him.

He needs 5 sp1 to ramp up. And even after full ramp his damage is nothing crazy, it's just good. And no utility except immunities and, "beinga science , not dependent on debuffs". But that is more of a problem then utility.

Best thing I have ever found about red hulk is his synergy with domino that lets her parry heavy and cheese certain nodes. He’s not trash.., but for 20k titan shards (40k in my case) he is.

Groot and beast are trash. He’s more like a loaf bread you bought at the store that expires tomorrow. In the right situation it works. But in most situations, in two days it’s trash…

You don't have to be doubtful. There are atleast 10 science 7*s you can invest before him. You're not missing anything out. Confidently ignore him.

You could have gotten The Leader. Red Hulk is way better than The Leader. He’s not like top of the tier science Titania but he is serviceable. Not to trash on The Leader…

He's actually not immune. He shrugs off incinerate and poison. But running a path that has either of those makes his ramp up super fast. Not sure how you don't understand his rotation. Ramp to 10 heat charges and spam SP1. His SP2 isn't needed and neither is the SP3. He has many uses and is very tanky.

Obviously all the Hercules stans like you and the others in this thread won't find him useful or appealing. Many others do. I would love to dupe mine and I have sigs waiting for him as well. He's already r3, just need the dupe.

I only have the Leader as a 6* and he's pretty bad. Still sitting at rank 1, which is where he'll stay.

It's a term used for when players only care about what champs like hercules do. You don't see the benefit other champs have because they aren't fancy or the "god tier" that the community deems. It's your choice to like whoever you want but just because you don't see the value in them, doesn't automatically make them terrible.

And most people including me explained precisely what red hulk has. That doesn't convince OP to believe red hulk is a useful champ for him. It doesn't change the fact either unless you really like him there's not really any use in investing on red hulk over other science 7*s. Not necessarily the got tier ones like silk, spam I'm talking bout, but even the "good/okay" champs like morbius, classic spidey and overseer holds wayy more value than red hulk.

Anyone that says he’s decent is lying to you for some reason. He’s a completed dud. He single handily ruined my Banquet event. 60k titan shards on that.

5* Quake is better than 7* Red Hulk, do what you please with that info lol
