How do quest crystal rollovers work again?

I'm about to take out Ares for the 6th and final time, which means I'll get the titan Nexus crystal. If I beat him now will I be stuck with the current pool of titan champs, even if I wait to open it until the rolloever? If that's the case then should I just wait until the roll over to occur on Tuesday afternoon before reviving for the final time and taking him down?

I know this is a commonly asked question my apologies I just can't remember and I would rather be safe than sorry
