Beginner Boost for a Valiant Player?

I just thought this was funny and wanted to share it here :)
When I went to Act 1 to do some easy fights for the Loki Charms objectives I managed to trigger a beginner boost of some sorts. I'm pretty sure this was something added at a later date (I cleared Act 1 back in 2016 I think) and now it triggered for me, presumably since I haven't touched Act 1 since the change. Has anyone else had this happen?

    What does it matter.
    If you're Valiant and Level 60+, doesn’t matter whether you get an XP boost or not. (They don’t count towards new Refined-XP).

    Just seems like part of a newer Tutorial that maybe didn’t come about until after you had explored ACT-1 long ago.
    And they have to give you some type of Boost so the Tutorial would allow you to click thru and not get stuck.

    I thought the regular experience does count. It’s just the refined exp has a multiplier attached to it.

    Yeah it happened to me yesterday as well think it was from 1.1.3 that it triggered

    It does, but it's like adding 1 to a bucket that holds 100, to adding 1 to a bucket that holds 1 million. (the 2nd case won’t even notice a different if you put 1 into it.

    Those not Valiant, and not getting Refined XP, still only have a teeny sliver of a line on their XP bar. That's how little regular XP matters to it.

    I never said it mattered, I just thought it was a bit funny :)
