In 3 words, a fun challenge.

My least favorite is alliance war, because I can’t handle 20+ people relying on my skill to help them win, especially when I suck compared to 95% of the playerbase

It's not too easy or too difficult, there are a decent number of paths and good rewards.

AQ is the worst mode in the game. Super boring and almost useless.

I don't have a favorite mode right now. They're all annoying to some degree. The longer and more complex the fight the more I avoid it. I guess arena would be least annoying to me atm....

I really enjoy the endgame content. Not only is it fun in and of itself, but I also really enjoy the community component where everyone rallies and tries to figure things out together. It's both a fun aspect of the community in general and, more specifically, the little personal friend group I have that has grown up around this game. It's always a good time when something drops and everyone gives advice to each other on Line.

Least favorite is almost every alliance activity. AQ? AW? Both horrendously boring and incredibly unfullfilling, rewards-wise. I don't mind that in and of itself since it has allowed me to step back from the constant grind that keeping up with those game modes usually means, and instead focus on the stuff that I actually like, but they're there nonetheless.

One noteworthy honorable mention is Incursions. It's totally forgetable and I only play it if I have to for some SQ. And even then, I usually don't have the mental energy to push for a whole run. Since you usually have to use new champs each tiime an Incursions SQ rolls around, it's hard to develop consistent strategies. There are some things that I really like with the concept of Incursions - mainly that it's the only game mode that actively boosts you in fun ways - but it's wildly unpredictable nature and insanely expensive potions and revives can really tank your fun hard through little fault of your own.

I don't actively dislike it in the same way I do AW and AQ, but I feel absolutely no incentive to play it either. it's just eminently forgetable.
