Punisher 2099 Heal block

Punisher 2099 needs more love they did him dirty with his heal block. It doesn't stop Mr sinister passive healing I hope they change his heal block kit, so he could heal block passive regeneration and not just regeneration buff.

And it cooks him that much? I've been playing my P2099 so much.

Yep. P99 is OP. Just gotta be patient. It seems more people think that strategy takes “too long”, but r3 Bullesyes dead in under 40, r3 Onslaughts dead in under 40. He is just that good

R4 be doing anything in 40 secs or less , almost no specials to bait , no dumb AI holding block waiting for the sp3 , just an sp2 and sp1 and the fight it's over .

R4. Might be the only one in game… who knows.

But when he was at r3, the results are similar. A few seconds longer, sure, but them never gaining a bar of power or only having to bait out one special is just p99 things.

Any R4 can take mr sinister in 60 seconds. Not the point of the post though. The point is he needs to heal block passive regen.. Wolverine x regen + Mr sinister instead of his useless regen buff heal block.

You don't want him wasting charges to heal block anyone , you want the charges for the sp2 armor break and to maintain the big damage .

Don't use him against weapon X , there's several champions that can do that fight easier , he's heal block is just a waste of charges in my opnion they could just remove it and it wouldn't make a difference on he's kit .

If anything the heal block should be just an extra ability unrelated to he's battery's charges , specially for bgs having to fight a champion that just keep sucking the charges is terrible.

Not the point, haha. P99 is amazing. Can he take every mutant, maybe not. Then use one of the other 7 tech champs that can take him easily. This is like saying Galan should bypass damage caps so he can take Fantman. Come on man, not every single class advantage champ is made for everyone. P99 is just fine (including against Sinister).

I disagree, it’s a pretty reliable piece of utility for him to have. Obviously if you’re trying to finish the fight as quickly as possible then you don’t want him wasting charges on the Heal Block, but in fights where time doesn’t matter he’s got quick access to a very easy to maintain Heal Block, which can be useful in the right situations.

I agree but I was talking mostly for bgs . But yeah for longer fights it doesn't matter that much .

It's useful, but it could be better if it were passive, or if you could deliberately activate it with a light combo-ender; to help deal with mutants like Sinister and Toad who proc lots of passive regeneration.

Ironically, this Heal Block ability means that champs who proc Regeneration can be used to your advantage against him, if they don't need to rely on the Regen itself (e.g. Bishop, Angela, King Groot, Wiccan)

The buffs slow down his charge gain; and then placing his Heal Block drains his charges faster.

So, Regen champs are actually quite good for taking him down, when he's on defense.
