Is that not…literally doubling his damage post armor break??? Also, his main form of damage is through disintegrations, not armor breaks.

It takes less time to read through his kit and figure it out than to come on here and complain…

Yeah it doubles it, but let's say it doesn't take 10 seconds to ramp up this way... a few long minutes actually. And yeah ofc he's a Disintigration champ, but... if so, why are these armor breaks here? They take a long time to set up, so I thought they'd have a decent payoff for the time invested, yet not in the slightest, I mean, I can't think of a single use for these armor breaks.

And as for the last sentence... again, bet it sounded better in ur head... but it's just embarrassing

What’s the point of SIM having a fury buff on his sp3? It’s weak and there’s less damage than just going for sp2 armor break. What about OG Iron Man’s sp3 incinerate? Again, you’re better off going for armor breaks. Champ rotations typically don’t revolve around sp3s because they’re unskippable (when it matters) cutscenes so Kabam often just tacks onto them some sort of alternative damage source for when a champ’s main gameplan doesn’t work. It’s not really a design flaw, they don’t want you to rely on it, champs just have it as a niche option. Zola’s the same, if you can’t stack disintegrations for whatever reason you have conciliatory armor breaks instead so you aren’t left with nothing, even if it’s not a lot.

And while it is niche, there’s use you can find for an up to 9 minute armor break. There’s a number of champ abilities and nodes where it’s beneficial having an armor break or non-damaging debuff. It doesn’t start at 9 minutes long of course, but it’s there as a secondary option if you want it, and even the minute-long armor break on the second use of sp3 is very good uptime.

It’s almost like the armor breaks don’t have a decent pay off so it’s not meant to be his main source of damage…and you say yeah of course he’s a disintegration champ…so why are you expecting the armor breaks to do anything crazy??? Like squiodopus said, it can have uses but they’re not the main thing. Let’s keep the main thing the main thing.

And also, I’m doubling down. If you would have used maybe one of your two brain cells to read a bit instead of typing, you wouldn’t have had to make such a strange post. Asking irrelevant questions that maybe sounded better in your head…

Brain cells usage? Wow, at this point I'm almost certain u r 12 years old.

And maybe it did sound better in my head, seeing as others disagree so much. But at least I'm not being an ass over a legitimate thought that something that takes minutes to ramp up to will have a decent pay off.

Let's calm down here. OP, you said that Zolas armor breaks did nothing. Without giving any additional context, are you really surprised that the first comment on your thread is someone pointing out that the armor breaks are in fact doing something pretty significant? 2 improvements to make Arnim a top tier champ imo:

1. the persistent armor break should be auto applied at the start of the fight.
2. just like red mags, go unstoppable while charging heavy - with cool down.

also pls, as an attacker , auto choose sp1 lock
