Help my choose my next Tech R3

I’m looking for some input as I pick my next Tech R3.

I’m primarily looking for a defender, but frankly would prefer a dual threat. I’m leaning pretty heavily towards Sentinel, although Red Skull is also up there. Probably would be going Red Skull if he was awakened. The only R1 that is a candidate is Peni, who I have duped and at sig 100. Arcade is arguably a better defender, but even with his buff feels like the least dual threat. Again might have upped his stock if he was awakened.

I play across all game modes except War, and while I play BGs I don’t play at the top tiers. Usually pretty much stop when I get to GC aside from daily milestones.

Finally, I’m going to R3 another tech after this one, and that will probably be a bit more offense oriented. Either P2099 or Ultron.
Who would you recommend?

I'll personally r3 ironman. He is the most funt to play tech champ imo. Also great for raids. Since you're playing bgs and AW casually, he's pretty good over there too.

For defense sentinel is a no brainer.

Sentinel especially because he's awakened.
He's a solid defender and also a solid attacker.
And he's an especially great counter for ..... Sentinel (should be able to 100% him but I'm dumb and kept forgetting to mix up my specials in this last BG meta).

Yes, I suspect he’ll be my next one which will follow pretty quickly. I need a defender first, but then it will be him. Or maybe Ultron, but probably him. But either way I’m doing two tech R3’s in a row.

Understandable, but P99 is also very underrated on defense. Unless he is nuked quickly, the block damage quickly stacks up.

Great point. And probably fully knocks Ultron out of consideration. So, next two are Sentinel and then P2099.

He's a decent defender with block pen stat focus

An advice is difficult because you should rank the champ which you enjoy to play.

So I simply list up my R3 and R4

So, you see I'm not following the mainstream in rankings.
I know my choice are not everybody's cup of tea.

Nevertheless I enjoy all of them to play without regrets....and this is the purpose of a game, I think.

And you’re someone who didn’t play last GC meta I guess. If medusa had passive Ai there’s nothing you could do before she goes both unstoppable and unblockable

He's pretty underrated, I haven't seen him used in BGs or war that much though.
