Advice Requested on Raids

I’m new to Raids and hope you can tell me what’s going on!
We are gathering at our second fight, Medusa. She has two icons showing to her left: 15 Assault Boosts, and 14 Tactician boosts under that. There are no Vanguard boosts. I’m in the Tactician role, and I understand I want at least 10 Vanguard boosts and 10 Assault boosts to maximise my damage.
So do I now simply wait for the Vanguard guy to build up his boosts? He has been fighting, so why are there no Vanguard boosts?
Does the listing of role boosts give an indication of who should fight next?
Thanks in advance.
Side note: I pulled 20,000 Titan shards from the first boss loot box, so I’m definitely sold on this game mode.

    To get vaneguard boost, the player carrying assault role should fight.
    Assault gets vaneguard charges
    Vaneguard gets tactician charges
    Tactician gets assault charges.

    As a Tactician you need tactician charges to deal damage, the more, the higher damage you deal.. Since you have 14 tac charges, you can deal good damage. But you first need to complete the role task at least once. I believe for Medusa, the second fight, the role task is to knockdown, L when no stunned, and dex. Do these tasks as per the icon few times and you'll start dealing huge damage.

    So don't wait for vaneguard guy, but ask assault guy to fight medusa and get charges for vaneguard guy. And you should start fighting medusa.
