Not unless it's an emulator style VPN or something. If it's a normal VPN you'll be fine.
Ignore the store, eat arepas instead. In the serious matter, I don't think getting stuff on the webstore with a VPN affects the game itself anyway.

Since I used the vpn (and worked for the website) I’m scared about using a VPN meanwhile I’m playing There is no prohibition to using VPNs while playing the game, so if you are worried that you'll use a VPN to get to the webstore, forget to turn it off, and then play the game itself while the VPN is running and then either get in trouble for using a VPN or be accused of something like account sharing because you suddenly teleported to Japan or something, neither of those things is likely to happen nor has it ever to the best of my knowledge ever happened. I believe everyone who has ever claimed they were banned for VPN use actually did something else that was ban worthy and were using a VPN at the time, and believe that it was the VPN that tipped Kabam off for some reason. And in the past this wasn't pushed back against very strongly, because why tell cheaters they are wrong about how they are being caught. But no, using a VPN is perfectly fine.
