Why do Vanguard users have little damage?

Besides Ironman, I’m seeing very little damage from Vanguard users in my ally. Is this because of the role or because of champ selection?

The pool is actually bad as a counter for all the nodes and defenders.
There is not a single champ in Tactician who performed, provided flawless gameplay. Juggy was alright not the best.

tactician class is worse.....technically all classes only have 2-3 viable options

Because Kebem picked the champs who are not suitable for raids map.

Whatever champs underperformed, they didn’t suck as bad as hit monkey or maybe it’s just me

Nightmare raids for sure. Everyone’s working hard and helping but barely any damage is being done from Vanguard champs.
