The games too big and they are obviously understaffed to meet the demands of all the modes. Maybe they need to downsize,..but what would that look like? I would have some ideas of what game modes to combine or eliminate,..but then everyone would have an opinion on this,..and probably a biased one at that.
The game also lacks creativity. Story quest has been a bunch of different nodes slapped together with 1 unique boss at the end of the act. The season of pain is new and was refreshing. Epoch is again recycled with just 1 new fight. Crucible-recycled Ordeal-recycled Necro-was almost 1.5yrs ago Necro Carina challenges-recycled content.
Equating challenge with extremely difficult has been the recent norm. Without thoughts about player enjoyment.

It's a fair point. Much like how EQ is just a constant repeat with a different mix of defenders, much of the "new" content, while it has been enjoyable, is 95% done before they start working on it.
