Jack O Lantern or Bastion?

So I finally got Bastion yesterday from the arena, just for testing purposes, and I’m wondering. Who is actually better in your opinion? Who’s the better Onslaught counter? Who can take more matchups?
Would you use one over the other if they are better, and why?

I mean, Bastion just came out so it’s probably going to take a bit of time to figure out how good he actually is. Based off initial reactions, though, I would go Bastion.

Jack is legit fastest, most safest, reliable Onslaught counter, my r3 takes down r4 in war no stress.
Plus he's also good against anyone who's not fire and poison immune.

He's also straightforward nuker, just sp2 spam, finish fights lol 😀

Bastion I'll say honestly is very very overhyped, be careful with him.
Not as overhyped as Morbius and Beta ray Bill and maybe he's better than both of them but still,
Hype to reality ratio is way off.

Jack can do every fight that bastion does except for bullseye.but there are enough counter for him already. And jack is reverse immune + parry non contact thats pretty rare a champ has both

From my testing, Bastion is far more sustainable than Jack and can burst down just with SP1s. He also doesn't need dupe and high Sig like Jack does to counter Onslaught.

Jack doesn't need dupe for Onslaught unless you don't know how to dex his specials.

"faster" is the key word here... Bastion needs sig and suicides to perform quickly on some of those, jack can take them quickly straight out of the box

I’ve had Bastion for a while. Love using him, but not having cowardice is definitely problematic. There’s times I’d love to use him but have to leave him on the bench because of that.

I can’t dex his specials but I have a duped Jack. I have never really played him . Is he hard to master and how does he counter onslaught ?

Ironheart has better utility and take more matchups than these two (not sure bout bastion but definitely more utility than jack). But has less damage than these 2.benefit more from r4.

Lol. Taking a bit less damage through block is hardly something that makes a champ good against Bullseye. There is nothing on his kit that does anything about the evade, which is the core of the issue with Bullseye.
