I know theres a good deal of hype around him but does anyone know where his big shine spots are as well as any tips and tricks?
I don't think so that he's that big on defence, he literally has only "wifi charges" thing which can be easily get rid by heavy knockdown, all his stuns and funny sleeps are taken out. That's all what he got and also don't push let him throw sp2 because there's funny unavoidable damage there 🤗
I have a rank 3 but unfortunately he's too risky and hard to use without awakening and high sig so place him on defense and that's it cause he is an insane defender as is. He's had a higher win rate than both Bullseye and Photon on defense for me.

Or were you talking about Arcade who can be both be parried and heavy punished with heavy by literally every champ in game?

That can be problem if you aren't using combo into heavy chain ability heroes like D-Thanos, Silk, Chavez etc But you can also heavy him after reparrying or using other heroes who can parry the non-contact. Just because hero can't be stunned it doesn't make him just hard, on stun immune nodes he can be problematic, that's for sure.

Problems are:1. Without sig 200 he can't punch a full rank above. 2. Stand Your Ground makes using him very risky. 3. You can't stack as many disintegrations on the last heavy before they reach two bars because you have to interrupt your heavy with sp2 instead of letting the full animation play and throwing sp2 while they're getting back up from the ground.

Also spacing, if the opponent is not in the corner the heavy spam won't work as good, and some defenders aren't as easy to push towards the corner

I have Silk as a 7* r3 and I never finish fights in under 35 seconds with her, a 10 second difference really isn't big enough to just scratch off Zola as meh for attack unless of course you're implying any champ that goes over 35 seconds (which is about 80% of the champs in-game) is bad which is factually not true. People are so quick to call any champ that takes 45-50 secs to kill bad yet I still see Celestial players using Negasonic and calling her a top 10 mutant.

All I said is that he wasn't designed to nuke fights in BG; doesn't mean that at high rank and in the right matchup he can't nuke a fight; a lot of champs can.You're arguing with me as if I'm PT and called him a "scuffed Kingpin" or whatever type of stuff he says...
His utility is amazing I'll say. Sp1 lock against a enchantress in war, and throw in a invulnerable boost. Her sp2 is locked as well. If you have max collar tech as well, you can cheese Midchantress. This is only a theory though, but there's no reason this doesn't work.
