What comes after Valiant?

Just shopping predictions from people on the next progression title.

After today's announcement of rewards for 9.2 giving enough catalysts for a full r4, and seemingly the highlight of the rewards. It seems likely with July 4th deals drawing close the next progression level is also on the horizon. Complaints have been more than frequent on what people consider lackluster deals offered to valiant players at times, so are we ready for the next step?

Players should be able to have 3 r4 7* champs by July, even for free to play or mostly free to play players. So to entice players, I'm guessing it'll be 3 r4 champions and 9.2 completion will get us something new.

They wouldn't dare release a new title when we don't even have Valiant EQ yet.

Actually, Paragon Gauntlet was released only 2 months before Valiant title. Releasing a Valiant EQ, 1 or 2 months prior to a new title would track exactly with their past

I'm pretty sure Paragon Gauntlet was at the very least released 1 year before Valiant title. And Valiant was released after Necro and that was by the end of 2023, November if I'm correct.

There's a simple reason why I don't think next progression title will come soon, that's because Kabam has been (since DSE) trying to get more people into playing the game and prioritizing new player's progression.

Releasing a new title will go against that trend of trying to close the gap between progressions.

    In terms of timeline

Paragon was released as a title may 2022. Paragon gauntlet wasn't released until September 2023, with Valiant title released in november of 2023 just in time for December banquetsales. Hence my thought that if they are releasing a valiant difficulty in april/ may. 2 months later we will see a new title in time for July sales.

    Waliant

Sounds like you are trying to say valiant with a very thick Chinese accent.

Crackerjack - excellent, of the highest standard

This is the way. Timeline would match up for a title around may, but seeing how useless valiant was for a long time, what would be the point.

I feel like Valiant had a lot of the same usefulness as Paragon really. As I pointed out above. It took until 2 months before Valiant title for us to even get the Paragon gauntlet. It's just been so long now, Valiant is the new normal to complain about. Now that Valiant difficulty is coming out, time for the next

You're right bro, I confused the timelines of title with gauntlet. I understand your perspective and it makes sense.

Personally I think they will try to stretch the title a bit more. There were many things that just didn't feel right after Valiant. Daily crystals were basically the best valiant reward for months, not having progression based content was also a huge miss, this Thronbreaker - Valiant bracket on sales also felt wrong, etc.

I think they can actually use this year to give Valiant's a little bit more spotlight, make progression based content and maybe after new end game content with Ares 2.0 around November introduce next title. That's just my guess though.
