New Radiance Currency impact on Elder's Marks

Hey! just had a doubt! I'm hearing from some players that from next season onwards due to the new Radiance currency related stuffs, that the Elder's Marks will be either useless or won't give the same amount of points it gives at the moment. What's the state on this and what will actually happen when radiance currency is introduced next season? Anyone can clarify this please?! (I haven't had the time to watch the livestreams so if anyone could kindly explain in short the summary of this matter)

    Radiance is supposed to replace the BG tokens, I don't see why Elder's Marks would be affected?

    exactly why I'm confused but I've heard some people saying that EMs will be useless from next season so use them all.. but I don't understand why they'll be useless.. either award less points or be completely useless.. Idk what's the exact info.

    the reason they might say useless is cuz elder marks grant more points in the solo and alliance event but since season 29 there wont be a solo event so thts why they might be less effective.
