Kingpins Regen rate

Toproller89Toproller89 Member Posts: 2,249 ★★★★★
One problem I have observed with Kingpins regen rate is that it is 50% and it’s not just willpower but it’s from nodes like aspect of nightmare where he degens then only regens half what he is supposed to, rendering him pretty much unplayable for these nodes and also some others such as close encounters.

Kabam should modify this to only apply to Willpower mastery. Or even remove it entirely, I don’t even know why it’s a thing in his kit, especially when you have sinister who can be under a bleed for the whole match and gain constant willpower healing.

Yeah, and Sinister is a champ that has very high survivability. Not all champs will have the same survivability. Kingpin can shrug debuffs instantly. Sinister can't.

And Kingpin only has 60% chance of removing debuffs, sinisters chance is 100% if they are damaging

Ok, but is this problem something that actually needs addressing or just something you want just because? There’s a lot of champs who need help more than Kingpin. They’re not gonna buff an older champ every time they make a new champ that has a similar but better ability, especially since a champ being better at one thing doesn’t remotely mean they’re better full stop.

And Kingpin has a 100% chance to remove them all when he hits 8 total, plus he can reduce AA and attack rating with his degen to help stymie damage further, and being able to purify non-damaging debuffs ironically helps with a lot of damaging sources like power sting, armor break, and disorient debuffs. He’s not hurting for survivability.

I just don’t think a node should shut down a champ the way they do for him in a lot of Act6

I know you’re just gonna say “whataboutism” again, but that’s a problem literally every champ has. Some nodes are just bad matchups that shut a champ down. It’s hardly a unique injustice he suffers.

If this is on your challenge alt I can understand your frustration since you have artificially limited your ability to work around it, but that's a you thing.

This happened after his buff cant remember reasoning but i think is due to his degen from sp1 and him having always wp healing they lowered it for balance reasons also even with the 50% regen rate kingpin is still a very very strong skill

What??? He can transfer debuffs instantly which is way better than shrugging off.
