I get a match or 2 into a level and then 3 or 4 accounts back to back with deathless thanos and high teir, high sig 7 stars from the featured crystal and almost every valid 7 star defender and attacker. This is ridiculous. Something has to be done

Playing over 100 rounds doesn't mean you should be any higher. You may need to take a break, especially if you're this frustrated. The higher accounts will leave eventually.

I’m in Vibranium 3 and I’m not seeing that level of competition. Yes, this early in the season the competition I am seeing is at least mid-tier Valiant roster strength, but “almost every valid 7* defender and attacker” I might see 20% of the time, if that. I believe you are exaggerating for effect.

I have no idea what you mean by “BG farming.” My guess is that you’ve heard of VT point farming, and so you think you’re being destroyed by vastly stronger accounts who are deliberately hanging around in VT beating up weaker players. But that’s impossible. If they were winning all the time, they would promote out of VT. The only way to stay in VT is to lose, and because you get two trophies for every win and only lose one for every loss, anyone who might be parking in VT is actually having to lose two for every one they win. If you were running into those people in your 100 rounds of BG, you should have won 2/3rds of those matches on average, because they would have to surrender to you to maintain their place in VT.

There is no gatekeeping in BG. Anyone beating up weaker players is promoting out of VT. Anyone parking in VT is losing 67% of their matches, which means you would be winning 67% of matches against them. It is literally impossible for a strong player to somehow hover in VT while beating up weaker players consistently. The Victory track does not allow a player to do that. What you’re seeing is the stronger players than you fighting to get to GC, and beating you among other players to get there. And that’s entirely fair.

Stuff like this is why I'm on the fence about them removing the solo event and adding the rewards into VT tiers instead.
I hope they actually fix the matchmaking next season or the smaller players are screwed.

Stronger accounts are gatekeeping by winning until the are about to be promoted and then they forfeit matches to return back to zero on that rank. Its widely known that this is happening. you havent been paying attention. They are farming points for the BG alliance event. And no... if there are enough stronger accounts in a certain ammount of ranks in a row then it can very easily turn into a gate keeping situation... I get your numerical analysis should work out but in reality it doesnt.

I’m not going to argue that this doesn’t exist, but the idea is that if somebody is doing it, then they have to be losing 2/3 of their matches in order to stay in the Victory Track. If they are losing that many, then they aren’t holding anybody else back because they’re actually giving out way more free wins than they are dishing out defeats. Of course, it feels bad to be caught in their 1/3 of the time actual attempts, but statistically speaking these people are not the problem.

One of this posts again. Thinking everyone is camping the track, some people just don't care. There is no incentive yet to get into the track. I am not farming and I am at Vib 5, just doing objectives 🤷

How far are you in story mode? It's better to focus on that than BG if you're struggling right now. Just because lower to mid accounts can compete in BG doesn't mean they are expected to move all the way through VT

We are only half way into the month. If you have reached vibranium 1 already then that’s pretty good. Just try and play the rounds for the twice a day objectives and try and push as high as you can go in the last few days.
