Who is the best Mutant 7* Besides Onslaught

I have enough Materials to rank 2 my first Mutant 7* (3rd r2) and am wondering who is the best choice. (The only 7* Mustants I have are Dani and Suaron, so i'm waiting probably for a good mutant)

Good thing this post isn’t just about BGs.

But regardless, Onslaught is for anyone that requires more utility than 5 hit combos and SP2-SP1 rotations.

Good thing I mentioned defense as well which implies my reply specifically was about BGs. If that's not what you're focused on then this argument is pointless.

In bgs onslaught is still a dual threat I will say. Sp1 into sp2 and another sp1 nukes almost every skill champ of equal rank except Nick. He is also a great sentinel counter.

Im a little hesitant to r4 Onslaught as i feel if they fixed his unpredictable AI hed be a lot more easier to manage on defense given the specials are easy to dex.

Im curious to see how Jean or Cyclops ends up as a dual use champ compared to him.

Yeah I did say Onslaught by far best dual threat, DPX I said attack exclusively the best imo just because he is ridiculously quick and nothing is immune to his damage.

Mutant is seriously stacked, the fact that Archangel is not even on the list shows how absurdly powerful champs the class has

Bgs isn’t the only place offense matters and it’s the only mode that DPX has any value over onslaught so not a strong argument to consider him a better offensive champ

This is such a flawed take and just a dumb excuse by saying "if you don't have em ranked up, you shouldn't be in the conversation".

And yes, I believe Onslaught actually is the BEST mutant on offense. Maybe not in battlegrounds as dazzler xpool and even maybe Jean are superior.
You're not using a DPX on a questing fight (800k hp btw) that your rank 3 Onslaught is also available for taking you're also not using dpx on that same fight where you have a r3 dazzler which with a little boost can one shot that health pool with 2 sp1 and an sp2.
This is also applicable in war which actually requires your characters to have UTILITY.

Dpx only beats Onslaught on offense in Battlegrounds as that is the only mode that speed matters, Onslaught is safer and has wayyy more utility than dpx which makes him a wayy better attacker that xpool.

Obviously as the we're getting multiple mutants who can fulfill similar purpose it all comes down to which of them you actually have ranked up.

AA is a 6* and 6* are completely irrelevant at this point in the game
