But isn’t it something like you need to enter your China issued government ID # when going online to play games.
Something about limiting when and how long children can play online games.
And that without a recognizable China ID #, they can not verify that in their government database.
So without a China ID, and without a suitable VPN that can bypass that, you might be out of luck ???
Would actually be nice if their system would allow bypass for people using WiFi access from Resorts/Hotels/etc, since that would mainly be either visitors, or at least Chinese families away from their home and so wouldn’t be affecting kid's school then, but don’t know if they have allowed that.
Would love to have a first hand confirmation on it though.
But that would be for EVERYONE, not just kids.
The gaming aspect (takes away from time kids should be learning) is what required proof of a certain age.
There was a much earlier post around when this first started, where that ID entry (tried by someone visiting there) would not accept another countries ID # when they tried it. Years ago.
“The Red Violin” (1998)
Great classical music score. Part drama, intrigue, with a little political history.
Some of it is set during Chinese Revolution, but much more than just that, as the movie spans several different timeframes.
Includes our own Nick Fury (or at least, Samuel L. Jackson).
& of course, The Red Violin). You should check out The Legend of 1900 if you are looking for something similar to The Red Violin.
