Are robots immune to mr.sinister's degen?

Recently I have been using mr. Sinister alot and I just noticed when ever I fight robot champions degen never transfers to them,almost every match. do I missing any details or is it bugged?

If it makes you feel better, I did it too when i first used sinister because reading stuff isn't my thing.
