Bullseye Special Intercept for Fury Not Working

Smeagz23Smeagz23 Member Posts: 134 ★★
Bullseye is supposed to be able to special intercept as well as use his evade then special to get a fury and it’s not working. I’ve tried it so many times and couldn’t get it to work once. I literally cannot wait any longer to throw special or i get smacked in the face. Unless I’m misunderstanding something but it seems pretty clear in his abilities.

Are you actually getting an intercept? You can’t really get a special intercept off of reaction, specials just don’t come out fast enough for that, you kinda just have to predict a dash and throw your special early. If you’re used to Hercules’s mechanics that might not seem true, but that’s only because Herc in particular, despite the wording of his kit, doesn’t actually require you to land a proper intercept with his specials to get his benefits (you can get some “special intercepts” that blatantly don’t intercept the opponent at all with him). Bullseye, like most other champs with similar abilities including Venompool and BP, actually have to land a proper intercept.

If i’m not landing an intercept then i dont know what else i can do. Go try it and see if you can do it because i couldn’t get it to work once.

Youre probably thinking of a Hercules interceot and not a normal intercept

    Done.

I made sure to use up my evade beforehand to ensure there were no claims that I had gotten the fury off an evade. As I’ve said, getting an intercept with a special is just difficult and often requires a blind read on the AI.

To me, if they are dashing at you and you intercept them with a special it’s a “special intercept”. It shouldn’t be that hard and require the most precise timing down to the millisecond. I don’t understand why herc gets a bigger window. Seems very dumb to me.

But for real, you need to be hitting them while they are dashing at you. What usually happens is that by the time your special connects with the opponent, they are already out of the dash and will have stopped moving.

Yah, i still can’t get it to work and if i can’t get it to work then i’m betting a lot of other people can’t get it to work either. Seems like a really poorly designed mechanic if you ask me.

I thought the same thing too. Until I gave up and did it by fluke and it counted intercept and got the fury charge.. So I was doing it wrong the whole time.i got it now but it was very weird to get used to and I thought it was broken for a day or two until i got it. 99% of the time it was my special didn’t connect fast enough they were already finished dashing and moving on. They go out of dash in a split of a second. No joke.
