The scam vs time graph on this one is linear with a slope of 1. In other words, it won’t be as worth it a couple months from now.

Edit: Actually it might be exponential not linear, I don’t remember which one would be better here but the line does go up

I think someone in another thread made a good suggestion that I might follow myself: collect units and wait at least until July 4, and then compare the 9.1 completion offer to the July 4 deals to make a fully informed decision.
Because everything else right now is speculation, unless PT has traveled into the future and seen those future deals.

15k for a single R4 is too steep. It’s only a few months and the same amount of units will probably get you 3 or 4. Or wait for the Heart of Fire event

I made the mistake of going for this deal to be a day 1 Paragon but then they released 8.1 just a few months later which had a full r4 in rewards. I wont make the same mistake again. Though granted, its not really hard to resist since theres no new progression title announced yet and probably not even close to so

It’s a singular r4 who’s class you can’t even choose. What extreme benefit would you even gain to justify that price currently? It’s just one r4 lol

If it was just J4, I would say 50/50 wait and see or just go for it, provided you have the units to spare. But with both Spring Cleaning and J4 likely coming up in rapid succession, I would tend to lean more towards wait and see.

I will say that there are a lot of people who have bet on future offers being much worse and then getting burned, and an equal number who have bet on future offers being far better and also getting burned. Offer prediction is not a science, it is at best mildly educated guesswork because the devs have no obligation to scale offers with any kind of formula people might be thinking of. They tend to design offers backwards: they project what the future is going to be and work backwards from there to make offers what they need to be to go in the direction they want the economy to follow. The also have inside information no one else has: namely what's coming up in the game in the next three months, six months, a year. Even if you think you understand how the devs design offers, there's no way to accurately predict how they will predict the future.

So while players should consider reasonable notions of what is coming next when making decisions on offers, they should also presume a wide range of possibilities: no one's predictions have been consistently accurate. You have to make your choices based on what you know today, and what you know today will always be an incomplete picture. You have to be happy with the decisions you make no matter what the future looks like.

If you’re going to drop 15K, I would focus on the up coming events with unique champ acquisition opportunities. R4 mats will drop in price very quickly. But the way Kabam has been running the Omega and “box” sales, those champs don’t come around again for a long time, if at all.

If we compare to valentine units deals 1t7 basic was equal to 20k units kabam selling

People saying wait for july4 but maybe they forget how july4 offers don't allow to purchase higher juicy deals until u spend atleast 15k units

Last j4 deals require players to spend 36k units to get 2rank3 gems one class gem required 18k units for the other one generic gem the player have to spend again 18k units

So all those above fuss comments saying that in 15k units u will thrice the value in j4 are being delusional they gonna disappoint later when deals gonna arrive

Infact in history of kabam j4 deals was never worth the value bcuz of restrictions required to buy higher deals and last year they went crazy high with 36k units requirements to get top deals

I say best value deals of units which are worth are cyberweeks deals bcuz it has less restrictions and those deals arrive in prefect time for players and game.

Spring cleaning offer doesn't include units deals they are doubloons offers which u need to buy from real money

I remember kabam given 900000 doubloons for free though
