Hello, with the recent arrival of Act 9.2, we have Lotan as the boss of the chapter, I was excited until I encountered a terrible lag that makes the battle unplayable, my phone has 8 physical RAM and 4 virtual RAM, plenty of storage space and at best I have made sure everything is ok, I think the problem is the optimization for our devices, it's just too frustrating, I hope someone else can share their experience if they have one, I have reported this tragic error to kabam already

Well, what is your device? While the specifications you name do sound solid, other applications could always be running in the background taking up RAM

I completely agree, I just physically can't get past the boss, not because I don't play well, but because the fight lags terribly

I just seen this and yeah that lag is horrendous to play with u basically cant even dex specials because of it

I'll just wait that kabam never do anything like this in the future, this figth should be funny as other final bosses but this whirlwind just made a horrible encounter and experience.

So a alliance member of mine said to change to 30 fps and will say that made the fight smoother so try that

I've tried everything, I went down to 30 fps and nothing, I checked for updates and nothing either, I have a Redmi Note 13, in general it is a good performance phone, that's why I don't understand this, I think the problem is that they have not optimized well for some devices

It’s be nice if there was at least some acknowledgment of this issue, also the one with Dust too… because as fun as the interactive backgrounds can be it seems like an unacceptable loss of performance too if it impacts as many as it seems to be. There’s gotta be a better balance in the future… right now it feels more like the team doesn’t care.

Absolutely terrible lag, very hard to do stage 5 in particular, and using champs that have their own active animations as well makes it ten times worse

I'm going for exploration first, that's just how I do quests. So, it will be a bit, but I have a feeling....

We've got eyes on it. You can check the trello board as well to see where we are on it. But let's be honest, even if people stopped complaining, the lag wouldn't just go away

On the topic of the Trello board, do you think you guys could set up some sort of pinned thread with a link to the board on the forums? It seems like an important enough resource that accessing it should be made easy and simple. As of currently, I usually have to use google to find a forum thread that happens to have a link to the Trello board which is inconvenient, and that only really works because I know the Trello board exists; I’m sure there’s a number of players who straight-up have no idea that it does.

So as mentioned in the dev diary we'll have weekly Trello summaries posted here, they'll be pinned for a week and there will definitely be a link to the board included!

I was also excited to finish this as quickly as possible but that malestrom animation is too much (even worse than Dust animation). I hope Kabam would consider making this type of continuous animation static or at least an option for us to be able to set it to static. we will still be able to see if we are inside or outside the malestrom even if it is static on the background. I think they are making this game for PC gaming not considering their initial market lol

phone specs: Oppo 13a android 14 8gb ram, still lags on 30fps where all my mobile games (mmorpg/arpg) run ultra smooth

Pretty much everything we post here we post on Discord. The trello board is just something we link to for further context and tracking on bugs and issues. What were you looking for?

Playing on Iphone 15 promax and got crazy overheat, crazy lag. That promax is not bad spec for the game , right ? Pls add it to your trello, and raise it to highest priority.

Is there any common denominator for lag problems among devices, VPNs, etc.?

This has been mentioned before and there wasn’t a good pattern for the team to make suggestions in the past.

Some things are obvious: if you’re trying to play on a BlackBerry, don’t. Old devices aren’t going to be able to run the game.

But how old is too old? Is there guidance on VPNs? Notification settings?

I’ve tried to minimize network traffic and silence everything running in the background and that sometimes works *okay.*

But is it possible to provide basic suggestions on how the game wants to be played optimally on a device?
