Why Is This A Reward In Raids

At the final box in Nightmare Raids, I don't need Light Essence and pull from the Valiant box instead. Why in the world is 5k 6* shards the reward for taking down Apoc? Why are 6* shards even in the pool!?!?

The end box is just a regular one not a valiant one as they making it so u pick light essence

You can probably trade light essence for something like 7* shards…
