Problem with Okoye's sp2

When I throw her sp2 on the middle of the map, after the first hit, the defender either blocks it or a couple of her hits don't make contact with the defender at all. I have to parry first and then use SP2. It's too risky to special intercept with her. Not sure if this happens to everyone or not.

Could be a bug, but I've not seen it. I'll keep an eye out for it.

Doesn't happen all the time so I guess hard to replicate but I noticed it happens quite a lot vs immortal hulk as an example (map 8 aq path 1, not sure if nodes are impacting but I doubt it)

Had few times vs bullseye too but less frequently

Can confirm this does happen, it’s not as consistent as the whiff of Titania’s sp1 but it can happen

This has happened to me with opponents coming out of hit stun in the middle of longer specials like hers after a clean hit. No unstoppable or any node interaction to explain it.

I’ve noticed this with just a few defenders. She was whiffing against Titania constantly with the sp2

Yes, it's not as bad as it was with Spiral, but it certainly happens.

It happened to me vs. Ordeal thanos, he wasn't fully backed into the corner, but he was very close to it and it still whiffed completely after the 1st hit landed square.

Also happened to me in bgs, don't remember exactly who it was against, maybe enchantress, but yeah that could've cost me the round if my opponent hadn't messed up. Same for AW.

I didn't comment on it earlier, but I hope they patch it soon. It's not just about special intercepting, because yes, it's harder to land that with her, but that is down to animation quirks. More importantly, her sp2 hits whiffing after landing the 1st hit is straight up a costly bug and it needs fixing.

Off topic but how is she for Deathless Thanos? Won't she just keep triggering his unstoppable?

Too many hits in her combo for him imo. Unless it only counts as 1 hit for him

She took nightcrawler, gwen, void, fury, and thanos for me. Honestly, I brought her in solely for the evaders, but she exceeded my expectations by doing the other fights for sure. All her fights were solos, except thanos who was almost a solo, I got him down to like 8%. Pure dmg takes you very far, it turns out.

I’ve done this fight and she can work but it’s a bit of a wild one. Just gotta be patient and strike when you can. Once you get the sp2 off though the heavy refresh made it possible
