Webstore purchases towards 7* Guardian

I can't seem to find the post that noted that starting April 25th, purchases in the Webstore will progress you towards acquiring a 7* Red Guardian, but I was wondering if we think purchasing the Double Track Platinum after that event starts would also count for market points towards Red Guardian?

If they are selling the red guardian , they should be ashamed, there's already a thropy champ in there with deadpool , why show red guardian in a ad promoting free stuff just to rip off people for it later lack of transparency from kabam only creates this type of miscommunication there's videos on youtube saying is a free red guardian , why not just give the entire info about the event right away , trying to only show info in the last minute to avoid feedback from the community is the ultimate greedy move .

It says clear as day "buy and trade in enough Poolshields to collect an exclusive 7-star Red Guardian". While it may promote first and foremost the amount of free currency we can get, it makes no mistake of what will need to happen to get Red Guardian.

Clear as day in small letters , i only saw it because i cropped it , it was in a video saying red guardian was free , i only downloaded the pic from google to post here becuase of that , still lack of transparency from their part , there's no info about anything ultil the release .

Can you find an actual MCoC source that says he was free? First of all, finding a content creator (who's title asks a question and doesn't make a statement) says nothing about Kabam's communication. Second, citing Prof Hoff as your source of information is about as bad a source as you can have anymore.
Unless you can find communication directly from Kabam that hints that he was free, then you're only misinformed because of where you obtained your information, or how you absorbed the information, not because of what was stated.

Not only does it say collect enough poolshields and trade enough in to get a red guardian from the webstore track also says 1 in the game one as well still will be more than the free poolshields we get for sure

These are 2 entirely separate graphics. You get 110,000 poolshields for free in the webstore milestone track.
Then the red guardian is a separate graphic telling you that you can get him by buying and trading in poolshields.
Just because the location of red guardian on the image is close to the 110,000 doesn't mean they're related
