Strange Interaction-Tigra

Here’s the scenario: fighting Tigra with Iceman, parried and went into 5-hit combo. At end of combo, moved straight into Sp1–no delay or stutter.

Tigra both (1) parried the combo and (2) caused it to miss.

I love Tigra. But I am struggling to understand the interaction—probably just forgetting something, but I cannot recall what it is (my 6* Tigra has been collecting dust waiting for her 7* counterpart).

Insight appreciated.

    Tigra has a small chance (10%? Maybe less) to cause attacks to full on miss while her blue sense is active. Normally she can only cause projectiles to miss if she charges heavy but with her blue sense all attacks have a small chance to miss regardless.

    Hope that helps

    It's the same as heavy. Only non contact special attacks

    Interesting. And parry the first part as well?

    What probably must have happened,in case your game didn't lag or you were a tad bit late in connecting the special and give Tigra enough time to parry the special;

    Iceman's Sp1 has 3 hits. She caused the first hit to miss, which lets her block the second hit and that shows up as a parry. And since it's all very fast, it might seem like she parried the first.

    If the game lagged or the special hadn't connected, then she could block the special which shows as a parry and then missed the second hit

    Right. I’m thinking it’s classic game lag —which has been an issue for a while—that gave Tigra a split second to land the parry and then miss the second hit (who knows what happened to the third hit).

    Both the green Parry and red Miss callouts came up (in that order) which would support your hypothesis. No third callout. So I’m chalking it up to the typical issues that arise when the game hiccups—just happy it happened in a routing arena match and not in something meaningful.
